The next afternoon:

Jadeis decided it was time she and the girls left the house for some fun, so she decided to take them to the local beach. It was a perfect idea. They could have fun and they could do some research in the ocean. What could be better?

Let's take a dip. said Jadeis. Ok sure said Aria who was like Jadeis, more than excited to go explore, however Tael was not happy with the idea. Finally after a few minutes the girls started swimming without Tael which upset her, so she swam as fast as she could to catch up with them. Let's go underwater! cried the two eldest. Cool let's go! shouted Tael. So all three swam together happily while Aria and Jadeis silently asked the Mermaid goddess to make Tael a Mermaid. Tael had to go up for air, so the other girls went up too. That was a great swim said the girls as they chatted to each other while the water lapped over their shoulders and necks. How about we go again? asked Aria. Sure Ari said Tael. Tael went underwater as Aria and Jadeis stayed up on the surface to ask the Mermaid goddess again. That is when something amazing and weird happened to Jade and Ari. They could talk to each other in their minds. it was not like they could mind read, but when they wanted to talk to one another without being heard it worked......

Jadeis?!?! This is crazy! cried out Aria in their silent communication. Aria? This is cool! So for a minute Aria and Jadeis stared at each other saying nothing. Finally they decided to go swimming with Tael who had been swimming behind them the whole time they were surfaced. Come on you two the water is perfect! hollered Tael. Ok we are coming shouted Aria as she and Jadeis dived back under the chilly water.

An hour later:

The girls were swimming together and had gotten a long way from the shore. As a matter of fact they were so far out that they could just barely make out the shoreline. Let's get closer to the shore said Aria. Ok said Tael and Jadeis. The three of them swam back to the shore at a fast pace that Teal could normally not keep up with, being that she wasn't a Mermaid like the other two. Look Aria she is swimming awfully fast. Yea faster than usual said Aria. I wonder if it worked? said Jadeis. I hope so exclaimed Aria. Aria and Jadeis went back to their towels so they could tan. Stay where I can see you ok Tael? Sure Jadeis. So the two eldest tanned and the youngest swam. Everything was calm and content until an all too familiar crackling filled the air and water. Oh no! Cried out Aria as Jadeis said no no no not THIS again! Just then a huge splash came from near the shore. Tael!!!! yelled Jadeis and Aria as they rushed down the sand to the beach. When Jadeis and Aria found Tael she had just gained her powers. They could feel her energy change from human to Mermaid. Teal was now a Mermaid just like them. Guys? said Tael, although she never spoke a word. Oh it worked! exclaimed Aria and Jadeis happily. What happened? Why can I talk to you guys in our minds? It's ok Tael. We have both been keeping a secret from you and now we don't have to anymore. said Jadeis. You are now a Mermaid just like us said Aria. Really?! asked Tael. Yes Teal and we can show you right Jadeis? Let's go show her Ari. Welcome to the Secret Underwater Club Tael! said both Jade and Ari. Wow cool!! Let's go swim. The girls all swam together and showed Tael how she could breathe underwater like them and how much faster she could be in the water. Aria and Jadeis taught her everything they knew about being a Mermaid.

Evening:

Jadeis brought Aria and Tael back home. Tael was so excited for her powers she could barely contain herself. All the girls relaxed after dinner with a movie or two. After that it was late so everyone retired to their rooms.

The next day:

Tael was bursting with excitement. Let's go swimming. Ok soon Tael. said Jadeis. Or maybe we could go back to the beach? Maybe said Jadeis.

Sometime later:

All three girls were swimming in the pool and playing games when they noticed the water became cloudy and hard to see through. Aria? Tael? Where are you? shouted Jadeis who could not see them. Here! shouted Aria and Tael together. Jadeis swam to Mermaid Cove and called out MERMAID COVE!! So once all three girls were in the cove the water started clearing to the way it was before, that's when Jadeis noticed something new that each of them had. Tails!
