Okay, so maybe in hindsight, he really shouldn't have done that.

Felix was screaming into his pillow dramatically, memories of last night filling his head like an annoying song that you just couldn't get rid of.

Why was he so stupid? The boy clearly didn't want to interact with his stupid ass, so why did he continue pestering him like a child?

Stupid, stupid, stupid-

Yet, despite all his embarrassment, Felix didn't actually regret it. In fact, even though it seemed ludicrous, something about 'my favourite colour is black' boy interested and enthralled him. Though he would never admit it, curiosity ran through his veins. The stranger was certainly an enigma, a mystery book. A novel written in a dead language, far too recluse for anyone to understand, nevertheless read.

Felix groaned. He blamed his lovestruck-ness on his lack of sleep. God, he was starting to sound like a prepubescent teenage boy again.

It was the verge of seven in the morning, the only source of light being the blinding sunshine gold rays shining from his window.

He should go for a walk, he thought to himself. It was obvious that he would not get sleep with the cringe attacks replaying every time Felix had closed his eyes.

The chances of meeting him were slim anyway, he reassured as he quickly dressed himself. No one in their right mind would go out at seven in the bloody morning and besides, he had never even seen the man before yesterday.

Right?

Wrong.

Fate seemed to be laughing hysterically at that very moment, the clicking sound of a door locking next to him catching the male's attention.

Holy fuck.

It's 'I-answered-one-question-even-though-you-asked-me- like-seven-but-who's-counting' boy.

Changbin.

He was dressed in the exact same attire as the day before, diverse wardrobe obvious with his black t-shirt, black skinny jeans and (shocker) black trainers.

"I- um,"

If someone were to put a side by side comparison of Felix next to a fish, the difference would be hard to spot.

Changbin scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "S-sorry for ignoring you last night. That was rude of me. Um, sorry again,"

He. Was. So. Cute.

The complete opposite from what Felix had created an image of in his mind. Nevertheless, he most certainly preferred the real one to his imagination.

I mean, nothing.

"It's no problem!" He beamed. He didn't know where the sheer buoyancy had emerged from, but strangely, he liked it. Teenage him was screaming at the character development. "Let's do over? It's not like I made the best first impression either."

He cringed once more, replaying the memory of his coughing fit.

"Sure," He nodded. "Seo Changbin. Just Changbin is fine."

"Well okay 'just Changbin' hyung." It's nice to officially meet you."

"And you too, Augustus Waters. I'm sorry for being so awkward, I haven't talked to anyone in a while, so..."

"It's alright. It's cute," Felix replied casually (but on the inside his heart was doing this weird thumpy thing and his hands were clamming up and gosh, did someone turn the heating up in here or what?)

"I'll be going now. Nice meeting you."

And so, Changbin turns to leave, and our story ends there.

Sike.

"Wait!" Felix called before he could stop himself.

Changbin froze.

"Go out with me. I mean, not like go out with me, but go out with me. I need some company anyway."

Dark pools of obsidian pierced his irises. "Its best not to play with fire, Felix Lee. You'll get hurt, so just forget I existed."

A shiver tingled up his spine. Felix's mind blared warning sirens, begging him to submit, to just give up and go out on his own. With a audible gulp, he was about to do just that, to apologise for his annoying pestering and to leave the poor boy in peace.

"Please hyung? I'll pay?" He had said instead.

Idiot.

Changbin's eyes softened a little. "No."

"I won't be annoying."

"Felix, you already are being-"

"Just once. Please 'just Changbin?' Please hyung?"

"No-"

And that was it. The final straw. Felix had brought out the big guns.

The renowned puppy dog eyes.

Changbin blinked. Once, twice, then another two more times, seemingly unaffected. But Felix knew better, the soft smile ghosting his lips proclaiming otherwise.

"Fine, fine, just stop looking at me like that. I'll make you a deal," Changbin held up his hands in mock surrender. "If I agree to go out on this stupid outing, and say, hypothetically, it goes well, we can maybe possibly go out again. But if it doesn't, you're going to forget about me, like promised. Deal?"

"'Maybe possibly go out again?' Are you insinuating a date, just Changbin?" He teased.

"Wha-what? No!"

"I'm just messing- haha, you're blushing. Hey, you're totally different from what I thought you'd be like, not at all brooding and assholey."

A small, "That was supposed to be the point," left Changbin's lips, but the younger had not heard him.

"Anyway. Does Starbucks seem okay?"

"My God. You're so basic, Felix Lee."
