Marinettes POV
Wait did I hear correctly or am I just dreaming because I was soo tired. Everybody else around me looked excited and where now hanging off the edge of their seats say that they were wishing that next week could come faster.
So I did hear correctly!
I was feeling so many emotions at that moment in time I didn't know how to feel. Should be scared, excited, worried?
I know right now you must be really confused but I will explain to you why I am panicking. I used to live in China and I moved away for a reason. I hoped I would be able to take that reason to the grave but I guess I might not be able to. At least I have friends I can trust. Well... I do but what if Chloe tells her dad. Then I could lose my French passport and have to live in China. Also before you ask I am from Shanghai.
Nobodys POV
"Marinette are you still with us?" Alya asked Marinette while she was lost in her track of very deep thoughts.
"Yes, Alya I am alright," replied Marinette after coming to terms with reality. After, she flashed a fake smile that could be seen through easily.
"Come on girl! You're going to learn more about your Chinese heritage ," Alya said to try and cheer Marinette up.
