Lauren Jauregui's Point Of View
The first half of the week with no school was spent tangled in Camila's bed every night. Sinu loved me and even though she never knew about us, she still treated me as if I were one of her own. She built a shelter around me that made me feel like her home was my home as well.
I wasn't exactly sure at that point, if she'd be the same once she found out about my relationship with her oldest daughter.
Camila's parents were upset to hear about her break-up with Austin but her father pointed out that he wasn't surprised. I didn't know why he gave me a small smirk when he said that but my girl clued me in. He knew about us. Seemed he was pretty cool about it as well.
My aunt and uncle, on the other hand, took it rather hard. Austin had told them it was for the best and what Camila said, made sense - about their futures after high school and if they'd be able to hang on to a long distant relationship. Aunt Greta was in near tears when Austin confessed they just weren't in love anymore. I couldn't help but feel bad and a little guilty. I never wanted to be the cause of someone's pain. I just wasn't strong enough to let myself feel the pain of losing Camila, either.
Call me selfish.
"Go Camila !" Sofi screeched, jumping out of her seat. I watched as Camila chased the opponent down the ice and stole the puck, making her way back towards her targeted net. She slapped that bitch so hard even the goalie jumped slightly, causing the puck to glide with ease into the net. "Dad, did you see that?!" Sofi hugged Mr. C, who was at his fourth game of Camila's. He made it a habit and it made Camila happy.
"My girl can kick some serious ass." Mr. Cabello laughed, winking at me.
Didn't I know it.
I had to leave the next day to fly back home for the remainder of my holiday. I was bummed. Camila and I were hoping to spend Christmas together but we had to settle for Valentine's Day.
"I don't think she ever tires." Mr. Cabello chuckled as he watched his daughter body check some guy before swiping the puck away.
I had to clear my throat and try not to smirk. I knew it took a lot to wear Camila out, but I wasn't about to let him know that. My thoughts were brought back to the night of the Winter Formal.
Holy Hell.
Madison dropped us off at Camila's that night while she and the other girls left to go to a house party. It was safe to say that we were in no condition to be around a house full of people. Camila blew off a huge party for me.
Camila was a sex kitten, she was such a tease. She was so sexy in nothing but her underwear. I couldn't wait until prom.
Fuck.
I squirmed slightly in my seat, trying to back those NC 17 thoughts out of my head. I was sitting right next to her father for Christ sakes!
"Are you okay?" Mr. Cabello looked at me with concern.
Shit.
"Yeah, I just hate leaving to use the washroom while she's playing." I gave him my best innocent smile.
Mr. Cabello just shook his head and snorted slightly. He and Sofi were a lot alike. You could tell they were father and daughter.
"I'm going to grab a drink during the intermission, you wanna join?" Sofi asked me, leaning over her father.
"I'll just stay here, thanks for asking." He replied sarcastically but gave his daughter a teasing smile.
"Whatever dad." she sat back, "I'm already sitting with you." She laughed as Mr. Cabello punched her playfully on the arm.
