You were so excited. Today, you got to do whatever you wanted. For free!

Well.

Luke was paying.

But same thing!

You decided to go to the mall first, and head to Hot Topic. That place was really cool, and you wanted to get a couple shirts there.

You decided on Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Sam Smith, and Ed Sheeran shirts. Going to the register to pay, you dragged Luke with you. He sighed.

"Is it gonna be like this all day?" He whined.

"If you keep whining like that, then yeah. If not, then no," you responded, setting your shirts on the counter. Luke paid the cashier, and you were off.

Leaving the mall, you thought about where to go next. To get a haircut first or new converse?

Haircut.

"Come on, we're going to Great Clips. Ya girl needs a trim," you say, walking to the escalator. Luke heaved a sigh but followed you anyways. After all, this was the only way to get you to forgive him.

A few hours later, you walked out of Famous Footwear sporting new bright red Converse. You were content, and decided to give Luke a break.

"Ok... next we're going to the park. But we have to go to the store first. You're not allowed in with me, so hand me your card. I won't spend too much," you smiled, holding out your hand.

"Ummmm.. ok? I guess," he handed you his card and you ran off into one of those 'everything under one roof' stores. He stood there, baffled.

*With you*

You walked into the store and went right to the blanket section. You grabbed a huge red, white, and black checkered blanket. It was the size of a king size bed. Next you went to the bread section, and got a baguette. Next you got ham, cheese, strawberries, apple juice, and plastic champagne flutes. You grabbed a very large wooden basket, and went to pay. The cashier looked up to you, and you grimaced. It was the guy from Starbucks, who hit on you. But there were no other cashiers, so you had to go to him.

You put your stuff on the conveyor belt and waited for him to finish scanning them, shooting down every attempt at a conversation he tried to start. You payed quickly, stuffed everything into the basket, and headed out. You saw Luke standing there with a girl who was obviously flirting with him. But he looked really awkward, trying to shoo her away.

"Look, I just don't want your number. I'm waiting for my girlfriend right now. If she comes out and sees me with you, she'll get really mad, and I won't have any chance at saving our relationship at all. So if you could kindly walk away, that'd be great." Luke tried to scoot around her, but she pinned him against the wall, pushing her breasts against him. You decided to hide and see how this plays out.

"I know you don't have a girlfriend in there, you're just a little insecure about someone like me coming up to you. It's ok babe, don't be scared," she started to go in for a kiss. Luke pushed her off of him, and she landed on her butt.

"What the hell!" She screamed at him. That's when you decided to walk out, pretending not to have seen any of that.

"Hi babe! Just finished, ready to go? Oh, hi girl sitting on the ground," you looked down at her, lending a hand. She scoffed at you, getting up on her own and stalking away. "What was that about?" You asked.

"She came up to me and was flirting with me, but I didn't want her to. I told her to kindly shove off, and she pushed me against the wall! She went in for a kiss, but I pushed her away. She fell on her butt, and that's when you came out." He replied, running a hand through his hair.

"You also called me your girlfriend," you said slyly.

"Wait, you were watching?" He asked, astounded.

"Well, yeah. I wanted to see how it played out. And I forgive you, full-heartedly," you stated, looking up at him. He started grinned widely.

"Really? That's amazing!"

"Yep, now come on. I have a surprise for you. Off to the park!" You started walking.

"Umm.. Y/N? Park is that way," he pointed in the opposite direction.

"Knew that. Off to the park!" You started walking the other way.

~TIME SKIP~

You walked over to a big tree, that was giving off a big spot of shade. "Close your eyes," you instructed, and he did. You quickly set up the blanket, and set out the food and drink. "Okay, open them."

He opened his eyes and his jaw dropped. "This is amazing. Thank you so much!"

"No problem, now sit so we can eat," you sat down, him after you. You made a couple sandwiches, and poured the apple juice into the flutes. You held yours up to him. "A toast, to you and me."

"To you and me," He clinked his flute against yours and you both sipped. After that you ate in peaceful silence. He looked at you while you looked at the sunset.

"It's so pretty," you said.

"Yeah," he quickly moved over to you, cupping your face in his hands, and kissed you. You immediately kissed back, wrapping your arms around his neck while his moved down around your waist. You pulled away after a few moments. He smiled, and you grinned back.

Today really was a good day.
