As you were walking out of the store, Luke still had his arm around your waist. Of course, you didn't mind.

As you were walking, you saw a very pretty girl with brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a jean jacket, white t-shirt, black combat boots, and jean shorts.

Luke immediately took his arm off of you when he saw her. You pretended not to notice the girl and looked into the shop windows you were passing.

When the girl passed, Luke spoke up.

"I have to... um... go to the bathroom. Ya, that." He said, turning around to enter the shop the girl entered.

Wow. You thought. I thought he was different. But you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

You started walking away, preparing to go home when Luke came back out of the store and called out to you.

"Hey, wait up!"

You stopped walking and turned to see him slip a piece of paper with writing on it into his pocket. You turned back around and started walking/sprinting home, which wasnt far.

He started running after you. He finally caught up with you when you were at your driveway. He took hold of your wrist that was pulling your wagon. You stopped running.

"Hey, what's wrong? You ran off." He looked concerned. As if.

"Let me see whatever is in your pocket." You said, looking strait into his eyes.

"Uhhh... um.. u-uh, ok..." He presented his jacket that the paper was in. You reached in and pulled out the paper.

Slowly you unfolded it.

Call me.

Of course. Of course he would ask for her number. What else.

You handed him the jacket and the piece of paper. Without speaking, you pulled out your phone and deleted his contact, showing him the screen that said 'Contact deleted'. Then you walked back inside and slammed your door, sliding down the back of it and weeping silently.
