How immense the depths
How cruel the darkness
Of the whirlwind within
Unforgiving, and thirsting of tears of the pastLike a fire wild it consumes all that's bright in me
And with its smoke, leaves me blind but to all the eyes can seeIt burns, it mocks, it dances around
Devastating all that's in its pathBut it is during these character-defining moments that we see:
When loneliness arises, solitude is the best companion to seekAs we hope and anticipate the long awaited storm that revives the weak
For surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life
Although it seems to be trailing too far behind
Although everything seems to have lost their color
Upon God's peaceful meadows I will stand tallFor from the faintest sobs to the loudest shouts
God inclines His ear and hears them all

Clay
PoetryA collection of poems flowing like a river from a heart made of clay, as it groans while being molded and when fired, screams in pain; yet rests in the knowledge that the Potter's handiwork will certainly be great.
