Jimin, he was with Yoongi after he visited Jungkook. He happened to meet Seokjin and Namjoon there but he didn't see Hoseok because he was away on a trip. When he saw Jungkook who looked so skinny and frail, he couldn't help but to shed tears. He knew Jungkook was still very young to experience all of this. Jungkook often muttering Taehyung's name, which broke Jimin almost into pieces. Seokjin made sure that Jungkook ate something but Jungkook kept saying that he wanted to vomit if he saw food. Yoongi helped to buy a few medicines as mentioned by Namjoon that hopefully it'll make Jungkook fall asleep. Jimin was there to hold Jungkook in his arms, crying quietly because knowing Jungkook was suffering. It was 8 P.M. and all of them decided to went home, after Seokjin tucked Jungkook to bed, even though the boy wasn't asleep yet but he left until he was sure that Jungkook was a bit better and all of them were good to go.
Jimin was now on his bed, holding his phone in his hand. He tried so hard to sleep but he just couldn't. Yoongi already went home not too long ago, and probably already in his apartment by now. He wrapped himself with his thick blanket, burying his face on the pillow beneath his head and tried to sleep but he ended up suffocate so he had no other choice but to lay on the bed facing the ceiling. He imagined about Jungkook and he could relate how hard it was for Jungkook not being able to sleep and all he had deep inside him was fear, and sadness surrounding him. "Jungkook...I'm sorry..." Jimin muttered to the air as if he was talking to Jungkook. He suddenly thought of Yoongi in his mind, will he able to fall asleep without having to worry a thing? Will he able to wake up the next morning without burden? Jimin questioning them in his head.
His phone suddenly buzzed between the silence he was in, so he quickly ran his hand to his nightstand and took his phone. he unlocked his phone to see new messages for him. Surprisingly the messages were from Yoongi and Jungkook. He opened the one from Yoongi first.
"I am in my apartment so you don't have to worry. I'm going to sleep now and wake up early to pick you up. Goodnight..."
Jimin noticed he was grinning but it doesn't mean all the worries inside him suddenly flew away. He wasn't sure himself about what he was thinking and feeling at that moment, but he was pretty sure one of them was doom. He was afraid that he won't be able to sleep. He already felt so tired. He wanted to reply so bad but his hands were just too stiff to type a long message,
"<3" he sent it to Yoongi.
His phone buzzed again one more time, a new message from Jungkook. He was actually curious too because these days Jungkook often messaged him at night and in the morning too. He opened the message without hesitation and read them...
"Are you asleep yet..?"
"because I'm not..."
He suddenly heard the door from the outside opened, together with the sound of the wind. He also flinched and it made him almost stumble down from his bed. He clung onto the bed sheet because he was too scared. He looked through the window that he always forgot to close at night but there's no sign of strong wind that blew. From that window we could see the avenue with streetlights that were barely on. Sometimes they flickered, or completely shut. Jimin often wondered why people that were responsible for public facility didn't bother to fix them. He looked deeper through his window and the trees that were outside, none of them moved, even the weakest flowers that he put in a pot didn't show any sign. He braced himself to walk out of his room to check whether there was someone outside. He twisted his door knob and quietly peeked from the small gap. Yes. The door was opened, but only a little bit, as if someone carelessly shut the door without bothering to check whether the door already made the 'click' sound. He sighed in relieve then he proceed to the door and lock it, this time.
Despite being forgotten to close the windows, he never actually forgot to lock his door. He stood there for a moment trying to summarize all the events that had happened before his phone buzzed for the last time in that night. He ran hastily back to his room and a new message popped up on the notification bar,
"You should sleep..."
it was from Jungkook.
