Ch7.4-Cause 2

**That is Leo in his Godhood mode 😉😋**

LEO'S SIDE

When he opened his eyes he found Nigel nowhere. Leo got up and looked around seeing the note Nigel left. It said that Nigel was going to the garden.

Leo wanted to immeadiately teleport but he suddenly felt a death aura, his heart suddenly tightened and quickly teleported away from the office.

Arriving to the garden, he saw his father fighting off a type of undead. The undead was fast and strong. Leo instinctively raised all his guard. Deploying a special defensive barrier he developed himself.

He wanted to join the fight but within a God's pont of view Leo and Nigel is just kids unless they reach a hundred years old. And that means that they have yet to enter a real battle within their whole life.

But Leo soon snapped out since he heard his father yell towards Nigel. He turned and saw the reaper appear behind Nigel.

His heart squeezed and he suddenly had a very bad premonition. Everything slowed down as if the time have stopped.

[No way Nigel! Behind!!!] He wanted to shout but nothing came out of his throat.

He helplessly, desperately reached towards Nigel

[No! Is this the the last time we'll see each other? No please don't tell me it is... Didn't you still want me to depend on you? Nigel please...] Leo remembered every moment that Nigel and him had spent

But right just then his father's voice resounded

"NIGEL!!!NO!!" This exclamation snapped Leo out and clenched his fist into a ball and determinedly gathered his Mana

"NO!!! I WON'T LET YOU!!!" Leo within that second, teleported behind Nigel deploying every kind of defensive magic he had. He summoned a divine sword and clashed with the scythe.

The undead looked annoyed by his interruption and slashed towards him in high speed.

He grimace in pain with every blow! the strength that the reaper had was no joke. It's strength was paired with a super Sonic speed increasing it's velocity and impact.

Leo's hand was shaking, but he vowed that he will save Nigel no matter what it takes!

Nigel is his only younger brother and no one is allowed to hurt his family! No one!

"Leo!!"Nigel exclaimed seeing Leo blocking the reaper's scythe

"Nigel get away from here!" While blocking the reaper's scythe while his hands shaking, he forced out few words to warn Nigel

Nigel panicked their father is experienced so he knew that he can fight that monster and defeat it with difficulty, but for the inexperienced Leo to fight it alone that's just seeking death!

"But-" Nigel wanted to help Leo but he is still too weak.

"Just go! Get out of here! I will protect you!" The moment he said that the soul reaper once again disappeared.

"Tsk!!" Leo cursed but stayed vigilant

The soul reaper seemed to be tired fighting him!

But soon Leo remembered the moment the reaper appeared behind Nigel he turned around, just then he felt a murderous aura

Leo's perception is better that anyone else so once he noticed it he turned towards Nigel's direction and rushed to push him out of the way

Nigel tumbled down and his father who is approaching to fight the reaper caught him

Leo once again gathered his mana and raised his defensive barriers as well as the divine sword to block

But what he didn't expect is the scythe passed through the sword! Why!? Didn't the sword block it's attack pretty well earlier!?

With no choice he strengthened his barriers and manage to hold the scythe off but the blows that he took earlier also took a toll on his body not to mention he's still a kid without a real battle experience

Then he felt something abnormal his mana is rapidly decreasing as if something is sucking it!

Leo looked towards the reaper in surprise but as it was an undead it showed no emotion, it only let out a cold air.

Leo clenched his teeth and sent Mana to his barrier again and again

Just before he lost his control over his magic, the reaper once again disappeared!

But without any pause it appeared behind Leo and slashed it's scythe

Leo was exhausted but still maintained his barriers but having huge Mana loss he was not able to perceive the reaper and only notice it when it slashed it's scythe!

What he felt is pain! Pain as if being torn apart in a thousand of pieces! He couldn't help but scream!

"AHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Leo was in pain but even so he tried to support his soul with his remaining Mana

He turned his head with so much difficulty just to see Nigel and their father rushing towards him

Everything happened too fast his father's wasn't able to do anything

Their father rushed to fight off the soul reaper and Nigel hugged him(Leo) who was lying on the ground hugging his body in pain

"LEO!! LEO!! PLEASE HOLD ON!!" Nigel exclaimed hugging Leo while crying. Leo extended his hand to touch Nigel's cheek and said in a hoarse and pained voice

"See?... Didn't... I managed to... protect... you properly..." The last thing he saw before everything turned black was Nigel's crying face and his family rushing towards him

So here's a longer chapter for you guys.. sorry for not updating immeadiately in such an important scene yesterday...hehehe😆

Next chapter is the 8th chapter and in that chapter it will explain some important infos.
