26: Jay-B's challenge

EN'S POV:

The next day at Diamante Organization, everyone were looking at the bulletin board for another announcement which made me look over with them. With that, Jun-jun approached me with a smile, a smile that is reached from ear to ear.

"Morning!"

"Morning, Jun-jun.. What's with the announcement?"

"Jay-B's challenging Crosx to a basketball game one-on-one.. Maybe, around 5:00 pm."

"Anak ng tokwa!! Bakit naghamon na naman yung taong yun?!"

"Ewan ko dun.. Basta ang pagkakaalam ko may galit siya kay Crosx."

With that I never knew that Jay-B had a grudge on the guy who had nothing to do with him. I had no choice but to call Tyrone.

TYRONE'S POV:

While at work, my phone buzzed as it was my En calling, I excused myself and answered her call.

"Yes beautiful?"

"Can you come over?"

"But, m-muffin cake.. I have work and you..."

"COME OVER HERE THIS INSTANT!!! OR I'LL CUT YOUR THROAT UP!!"

Her angry voice made my ears bleed and I never wanted En to be mad, and with that, I went out of work as early as possible before En kills me as if my life depends on it.

I arrived at the place and saw her in rage as Jun-jun tries to calm her down same goes with the new face of the Diamond group which made me curious. It seems legit.

En glanced at me and she calmed herself down when she saw me again, but Mr. New face didn't give any welcome greeting as he was glaring.

JAY-B'S POV:

Around 5:00 pm, everyone went inside the gym even Jin was also there to watch, I looked over the crowds but I saw En, she didn't look so happy, she was giving me a glare and anytime she would punch me in the face, then, Crosx went to the court and I gave him a smirk but for him he was just smiling like an idiot, he didn't know that I'll beat him through basketball. JR whistled as the game starts, I got the ball, however, he suddenly appeared before me with his eyes glowing in blue as he slaps the ball away from my grip and went to the other side of the ring and the f*ck! He made the usual dunk like the NBA players do.

First quarter:

Crosx - 29

Jay-B - 24

But in the end of the 4th quarter, I lost against him as I felt defeated by a newbie. He got 67 while I got 56 points. I approached En, but she wasn't smiling at all, she was upset and I realize to myself that it was bad idea challenging Crosx like that. Tyrone was there as he welcomes Crosx with an open arms and hang out with, while En was left with me to talk to with her arms crossed ofer chest and her face was damn serious.

"Not a single word, Jay-B Gil.. Not a word.." she spoke before I speak.
"Why the hell did you challenge Crosx all of a sudden?! Since he's new in the group, you wanna test if he plays basketball?! What the hell are you thinking?!" She said, seriously with that upset tone. I sighed, slouching down on the bench as I told her everything.

"I just wanted to test him.. If..."

"If what??"

"... If he can play and even if he can protect you from danger.."

"Well, when I saw him play, it makes my heart pound and from the way he plays basketball is different."

"So, you like Crosx or not?"

"I like Crosx more than you. Besides, you changed a lot since you left the group."

That made me silent as En left the place, however, Jin approached.

"You really did change, my apprentice. But challenging others won't make you change the way it used to be."

"But, sensei.. I feel that I lost En.. I lost our friendship since I left the group."

Jin didn't reply me afterwards as he gave me a tap and left. I was about to leave and my eyes caught something glimpsing in my bag, I took it out and it was my Triskelion necklace, I took it out and looked closely at it as it made me recall the time that me and En had almost lost this necklace, we ended up searching it during the town festival back in the province.
