JAY-B'S POV:
"Alright on the search of my necklace!" I said wearing my cap and waited for En outside.
It was the day of the Town Fiesta which made it more difficult for us to find where does Skyler lives. Before that, we stopped by at my place and my relatives were glad to see En again, especially mom and grandma.
"Halika, anak. Kain muna kayo ni Jay.."
"Sige po, tita.. Bagong kain lang po kami.."
"Mama, di ba po may leche flan at tempura?"
"Oo, anak. En, halika sa loob, kumain ka muna dito.
With that, me and En had lunch at my place and everyone asked about me and her if we're already engaged as boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but she told them it's only until friends and all of a sudden, Damien smacked my ass.
"Ouch! What the hell did you do that for?!"
"Friendzoned her? C'mon! She had been your buddy since elemenatary years, & it all comes down to that?"
I nodded and gave Damien a fist bump before he forces me to sing later. I went to the dining room and saw En, eating with grandma and some of my cousins.
"Jay-B, I told you to join En. Why didn't you join, young man?"
"Sorry ma. I told you already that I'm full."
Mom just shook her head and sat down on the chair next to grandma & after awhile, I cleared my throat as En looks at me, I leaned closer to her.
"We have to go.. We don't have plenty of time to chit-chat them.." I whispered as she nods while drinking a glass of Coke. With that, we bid goodbyes and went off to find Skyler's house, however, a long traffic came which is the worsest part during town fiesta, I sighed deeply and then, I saw Skyler walking with my gang on the way to Jaime's place.
"I think I saw Skyler.." me and En chorused which is kinda a bit weird and looked at each other.
"Where?!" En said as I pointed to the walking group of people and she unmount on the motorcycle and followed them, however, Wendy suddenly grabbed me by the hand and lets me in at her place.
EN'S POV:
"He'll be so dead to me when he tries to sold that to other people! Right, Jay-B?" I glanced back and saw Jay-B wasn't behind me, making me look around and finally, I saw his figure afar & went towards him. But, I paused for awhile when I finally saw Wendy again the girl who a short rebonded hair, whose talking to Jay-B. I cleared my throat to stop their flirtation.
"Enz?! Wendy told me to eat with her at her place. Mind if I stay?"
"Stay? B-But, you said you're going to accompany me to get-- I mean, to watch the parade?"
"En, c'mon. You're no longer a five year old, to accompany by Jay-B all the time, right?"
Just die in hell, b*tch!! I thought while holding back my fuming temper and gave Jay-B a glare. And with that I left them and not telling to him that I'll leave...
