irene was biking along the streets of white chapel, london. she was dressed in her usual mom jeans and over-sized shirt. she stopped at the coffee shop where her mother works and parked her bike in front of the coffee shop, dragging money from her pocket.

as she enters the coffee shop, a man bumped into her.

"watch where you're going, sir." irene said to the man but he did not respond and left.

"strange." irene murmured to herself.
suddenly, she heard a familiar voice. she turned back and it was her mother.

"mother dee!" she exclaimed.

"rene, i thought you were already at your friend's house? is there anything you need?" dee asked.

"here, go buy food. i'll go now." she handed the money and left.

"ah, this girl." dee smiled.

while biking, irene saw women in shiny & glamorous dresses walking with an old man. "damn. prostitutes everywhere." irene said.

she finally reached her destination: the house of wendy, a dear friend of irene. they knew each other ever since kindergarten. she then walked towards the door and knocked.

"it's me, wendy!" she said in a loud voice.

"coming!" wendy opened the door.

"hi there, maria." wendy jokingly said to irene.

"oh hello there, lolita." irene replied.

they went inside and did a lot of crazy things best friends would do.

wendy turned on the television and asked.

"have you heard the news?".

"about what?" irene replied while making pancakes.

"nowadays, women of white chapel are getting murdered" wendy said, but irene didn't say anything.

"i'll just take a nap." irene gave the pancakes to wendy. next, she washed her hands and grabbed the comforter. she soon fell asleep.

suddenly, wendy heard a girl crying outside. at first, she didn't mind but it started knocking on the front door. without hesitation, she opened the door.

"wendy, help!" it was her neighbor, young lady daffodil in beige.

wendy quickly hugged her. "what happened?" she asked.

"s-someone g-got m-murdered... i s-saw i-it..." the poor young lady stuttered.

on the other hand, irene woke up because of the noise caused by the young lady.

"wendy, who is she?" irene asked while she itches her hair.

"my neighbor." wendy responded she while consoles the young lady.

"did something happened?" irene queried.

"she saw someone getting murdered."
wendy replied.

"let's report it to the police. give me the key." wendy went inside to get car key on the top of the dining table and gave it to irene. they quickly get into the car, irene starts the engine, and drove.

thankfully, they found a police station nearby.

"officer, please help us. someone got murdered." irene said to the police officer.

"what location?" the police asked.

"the coffeeshop near the park." the young lady said.

they rushed into the crime scene.
luckily, there were already some police officers. one police officer said that the victim works as a barista at a coffee shop. they showed the name patch and it says.. "dee."

and that was the moment when irene felt like the world shattered. her mother was brutally murdered that it made irene weaken. as she walks slowly towards her dead mother, tears started to fall from her eyes. irene went crazy. her mind & body became unconcious.

and then there is this strange man wearing all black from head to toe, checking the crime scene, and then....
he smiled.
