3rd Person:

It has been more than 8 months since jaemin's back started to have problems. And jaemin was advised to go back home, to stay with his friends, family, and Y/N.

Y/N, you see. Is jaemin's best friend. And childhood crush. But alas, like all cliché romantic love stories, she felt the same way. But they didn't know that they liked eachother. So they hid their feelings and stayed friends, For now.

One afternoon, jaemin was all alone in his house when he decided to look on his phone and watch YouTube while his parents were out. The first thing he saw when he opened the app, was a video from SMtown, The company he trained under. But when he saw the title. He felt his heart slowly break. It was the comeback of NCT Dream with their new song called We Young. With Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Chenle and Jisung. He wasn't informed that they were having a comeback. To be fair he was on hiatus. But, Why didn't they tell him?

He clicked on the video and watched it. He had a huge mix of emotions like happiness, anger and sadness. He started thinking to himself, 'Do they miss him?' 'Do people still talk about him?' 'Are they still waiting for him?' and 'Did they forget about him?'. He shook off the feeling, remembering that they're his 2nd family and that they would never forget him. But once again he turned his attention towards his phone.

As the MV ended. He started thinking to himself once again, 'what if he didn't have back problems?' 'what if he attended the MAMA awards?', 'Or, what if he practiced while he was still on hiatus?' that idea made him shake his head and think 'no, he's supposed to be resting, not practicing.' But he couldn't resist the temptation of that idea.

So he got up, turned on some music and started practicing. But little did he know, that a certain (h/l),(h/c) girl was coming over to pay him a visit expecting him to be resting.

Y/N's P.O.V.

I happily walked on the way to my best friend, who was also my crush. Jaemin's house. I knocked on the door once, but nobody answered. I knocked twice. But still no answer. I started to think of the worse possible scenario that could happen. I twisted the knob only to find the door open. 'okay, now I'm really scared'. I heard a noise coming from jaemin's room, so I quickly closed the door and ran up to jaemin's room. But the closer I got to his room, the more the noise sounded like music. I opened the door to see jaemin dancing to NCT 127's Cherry Bomb. I looked at him with shock and worry as he tried to attempt Taeyong's flip but ends up hurting his back.

I run to his side, rubbing his back gently. Trying not to hurt him even more than he already was. I gently sat him down on the bed. Still rubbing his back, he slowly started to calm down as I got up and turned off the music. I turn around and saw jaemin with his head down, facing me. 'He must feel guilty' I thought as I walked over to him.

I was now infront of him but he still didn't move an inch. "Jaemin?" I asked but he still didn't look up. I sigh as I squatted infront of him and asked in the cutest voice I could muster.

"Nana?" I asked. Suddenly, he looked at me with wide eyes and a pink blush spread across his cheeks.

(A/N: Just pretend he's blushing, I couldn't find any gif of him blushing)

We sat in that position for a moment until we realized we were staring at each other. I fake coughed and jaemin moved a bit so I could sit down. But as soon as I sat down silence filled the room with nothing but the the sound of our breathing and the ocassional sighs. I sigh once again as I opened my mouth to say something but he beat me to it.

"I'm sorry" he said. I looked at him confused. "For wha-" once again I was cut off by jaemin, who was now looking at me with tears pricking the corners of his eyes. "I'm sorry for everything, I'm sorry for making you worried, I'm sorry for practicing even though I was supposed to be resting, I'm sorry I-" it was my turn to cut him off by hugging him and rubbing his back gently. "Sh, sh it's okay, it's alright, I'm not mad" I said in a calm, soothing voice. Jaemin started to hug back and sob quietly in my arms. While I'm making sure that all my attention is on him." You should take a break jaemin... You shouldn't be overworking yourself like this..." I advised him as I got a hum in response. We eventually ended up cuddling in his bed which was no big of a deal. But before you know it I fell asleep.

Jaemin's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes to see Y/N sleeping soundly. I sigh as I wrap my arms around her and said "You know... I've always had a small, no. HUGE crush on you but I don't know if you feel the same, and I was always afraid that if I confess to you, our friendship would fall apart. But after today, I don't think I could afford to loose her to anyone else anymore... Maybe when you wake up... I'll confess" I smile as I cuddle even closer to her, leaving no space in between us. 'I hope she accepts my feelings'.

3rd Person

But little did he know, that the (h/c) girl heard him and was looking forward to waking up with them being more than friends.

A/N: FINALLY I UPDATED AGAIN! I actually listened to Cherry Bomb while writing this 😂😂😂,Sorry for the lack of updates, I had to bond with my cousins cause one of the just came back from korea 😁 but she also left the next day so... Yeah, there will be slow updates so please be patient!
