An Upside Down Day ( COMPLETE )

A night to end all nights

LATER that night after a whole day of barbaque, Belle stood in the living room of her home, looking at the pictures decorating the fireplace. There was a picture of her graduating from Vet school with Luke standing proudly beside her, a picture of her and Jemali goofing off at a café with Brian and a picture of her and Luke's mother laughing at Gia and Mia as they ran around in ladybug costumes.

There was plenty more pictures but the one that really caught her attention was a picture of Luke in a uniform dancing with a nervous younger version of Belle at a military ball.

Suddenly she heard the song, Perfect by Ed Sheeran, play on the stereo. Belle turned to see Luke holding a hand out to her, "Are you too tired to dance with me, Mrs Ranger?"

"No...I most certainly am not ,Mr Ranger."

Luke then stepped closer to her and put both his hands on Belle's waist whilst she entwined her hands around his neck. Of course that meant she had to stand on the tip toes but she didn't mind.

"Where are the girls?"

Luke smiled,"Taking their baths, they'll be busy for the next few minutes. Did you enjoy today's barbaque? "

Belle nodded with a smirk,"Yes, it was great. Especially the part where you and your sister spent arguing about my weight."

"Are you sure you're not feeding her too much? She looks a little fat," Jemali asked with a frown as everyone at the table froze and turned to Belle.

Belle paused in chewing her potatoe salad and stared at them all with confusion,"What? "

Luke glared at Jemali, "She's suppose to be eating, she's pregnant for heaven's sake."

"Leave Belle alone, Jem," Brian scolded his wife as Luke's younger sister Casey rubbed Belle's shoulder reassuringly,"Ignore Jemali, you're not fat honey, you're just gaining. "

"It's okay, I won't break out in tears over the word 'fat',really I promise," Belle said after she swallowed her food.

"But you usually do so umm...we just want to reassure you," Luke's older brother Matthew added as his wife Melissa elbowed him sharply. She then aimed a small smile at Belle as Mattew rubbed his sore stomach.
