An Upside Down Day ( COMPLETE )

Moon visits

BELLE watched her daughters ( there, she said it) run up to a house and opened the door as if it was their home.

"Are you sure they'll be okay?" she asked Luke as he turned to her with a smile.

"It's Jemali, we both trust my sister with the girls remember?" said  Luke as they drove away. Belle nodded but then froze, "Wait, Jemali's your sister."

Luke raised a brow at her with confusion,"Yeah, my half sister and your best friend. Are you OK Belle? You seem off sweetness. "

Belle turned red,"Yeah, it's...... It's just the baby."

Luke smiled and laced his fingers with hers,"Only two more months to go then I promise, no more babies. "

Belle nodded passively. They drove in comfortable silence till they reached the hospital and headed for the Antenatal Clinic. There were other pregnant women there as well but none of them seem to be there with their own husbands.

Luke led her over to one of the seats and helped her sit down whilst the women all watched her enviously. Whether it was due to the fact that her husband was with her or because her husband looked like a hot Danny from Pearl Harbour, she was not complaining.

Before he could sit, Luke slapped his head,"Oh no, I forget your lunch."

Belle smiled, "It's okay, go and get it. I'll wait here."

Luke frowned,"You sure?"

Belle nodded as Luke sighed and kissed her cheek,"Wait here. Don't go in there without me."

"I won't."

Luke then ran out the clinic as one of the women leaned over to Belle,"You're very lucky that your husband loves you that much to come here with you on Football game day."

"Yes, you really are lucky," said someone next to her.

Belle gasped as she turned to see Moon sitting next to her with a calm smile, "Are you enjoying yourself?"

"Are you kidding me?!.........I am totally lost. I'm in a place where I don't know what is what. Give me some answers now, Moon!"

Moon reached across to tuck a loose curl of hers behind her ear, "You didn't believe your Fortune so I decided to show it to you."

Belle paused as it finally dawned on her,"This is my future."

Moon nodded,"And Luke is the one whom I was referring to."

They both remained silent with Belle sitting very still and Moon smiling as she watched her.

Finally, Belle asked,"How long will this last?"

"Till the moment you fall asleep in the night. Word of advice: Enjoy it and treasure it because all this will be yours one day."

Belle turned to Moon only to see that she was gone.

"Got it," said Luke with a gasp of air as he stood infront of her with a bag and water bottle. He noticed that Belle was frowning, "What's wrong? Is it the baby?!"

Luke quickly sat down next to her and placed a hand on her stomach with a worried look. Belle then placed her hand on his and smiled for the first time today with feeling, " Everything's........ perfect."

They both sat quietly till it was her turn for her scan.

The whole thing was sort of new and scary but all those doubts disappeared when she saw her son on the screen and heard his little heart beat on the monitor.

They pulled up at Jemali's driveway as Luke quickly jumped out and went around to open Belle's door."Come on let's get you inside before Jemali thinks I've kidnapped you again."

Belle laughed, "Again?"

Luke smirked at her as he helped her out of the SUV and closed her door. Belle could see five other cars parked outside the house and from where she stood, she could hear laughter and loud music.

"Are you sure it's a barbaque and not a party?" Belle asked as Luke laughed,"Babe ,don't worry.... Hey ,listen, could you go and tell Brian to come out and grab the beer cooler? I have to deal with the buns and frozen steaks."

Belle frowned and turned to see Luke grab some shopping bags from from behind the SUV,"When did we get those?"

"Yesterday,I put them in the coolers this morning after getting the girls ready so we wouldn't have to worry about it during the ultra sound."

With a smile, she turned to walk up to the house," How did I get so lucky to end up with you as my husband?"

"You didn't."

Belle stopped and turned to Luke with confusion but the guy simply winked at her," I'm the lucky one."

Laughing, she turned and continued up to the front door and opened it. For some reason, she knew that Jemali would be use to her walking into her house whenever she wanted.

She had only stepped in the threshold of Jemali's home when she heard a baby laugh. She turned to the kitchen to see Jemali put a baby into a high chair,"Hey Belle, come in. I just have to feed Junior."

Slowly, Belle walked in and stopped near the chubby baby and stroked his cheeks," Wow Jemali, he looks just like your baby pictures."

Jemali turned to her and smiled,"Yeah? You think so?"

Belle nodded as the baby cooed and giggled. She then turned and  hugged her best friend with a sniffle.

"Hey, you okay? Is it the baby?" Jemali asked with worry in her voice. Belle shook and head and released her,"No, it's just umm....I'm just really emotional right now."

Jemali chuckled and rubbed her shoulders for comfort.

"Umm, Luke said to tell you to get Brian outside to help him with the coolers?"

"I'll get to it," someone answered as Belle turned to see a handsome man come in and kiss Jemali's cheek. He was hot but nothing compared to Luke."Hey, Bee, how's Luke Junior? "

Belle smiled as he kissed her cheek and patted her baby bump, "Fine and healthy."

"That's good news, now excuse me ladies while I go and help my brother in law before he hurts himself with the coolers."Brian said as they heard Luke shout from outside," I heard that idot!"

"You were suppose to!" Brian shot back as he ran out the front door. Suddenly the twins came barging in from the living room,"Mumma!"

They quickly stopped at the last minute to avoid bumping into their mother and gently hugged her waist from both sides. Jemali smiled at them as she got started on Junior's lunch,"They were both angels today. Spent the whole time playing with Junior and watching Boss Baby on my laptop."

"Good girls," Belle congratulates the girls as they each took one of her hands,"That means tomorrow, we all get to go out for ice cream."

"Yes!" Both girls fist bump each other as Belle looked up to Jemali with a raised brow.

Jemali shrugged"Oh, before I forget. Your mum said to video chat her, she wants to see how you are doing. You can use my laptop in the living room."

Belle nodded as she and the girls walk into the living room.

Well now that everything is settled, Belle can get use to her life even  if it is for a day...
