Chapter 17

I explained the situation to the boys.

Everything.

I even showed the messages that the girls send me.

I just had to do it since they hurt Mina.

Hobi looked at me with his watery eyes.

"Soni, I'm so sorry... I knew this from the beginning and couldn't do anything to protect you..." Tears are now falling from his eyes.

"You knew this, hyung?" Jimin asked.

"Yes... I wanted to tell you guys, but-"

"I didn't want you guys to worry! That's why Hobi kept it as a secret." I interrupted Hobi.

"Why, Soni? You kept that as a secret and now Mina is hurt!" Yoongi yelled at me.

"I didn't know that they were going to enter in the house! They only threatened me, not anyone else!" Now I'm yelling too and crying at the same time.

I know that this is my fault, but I was scared too...

I looked at them and they all looked disappointed with me.

An idea came to my mind and even though I don't want to do it, it's the best for everyone.

"I'm sorry..." Was all I could say.

I looked at Mina and she was looking at the floor and she looked really scared.

I ran to my bedroom and locked the door.

Tears began to fall and I sat on the floor.

I stayed like that for about one hour.

Then, I walked to my bed and slept through the whole night.

Tomorrow is going to be a rough day...

When I woke up it was almost 5am.

I started to prepare my things.

I took a short shower and dressed a shirt and shorts that were no longer in my closet.

My closet was empty.

I picked up my bag and opened my bedroom door.

Slowly, I walked through the empty hallways since everybody was sleeping.

I didn't want to cry, but it was stronger than me. I tried to control my sobs so no one would hear it.

I reached the front door. I stayed for five minutes pondering if I should do this or not, but it was for the best so I guess the answer was obvious.

I left the house.

Hobi's P.O.V.

I couldn't sleep the whole night.

I kept on thinking that I didn't do anything to help Soni and Mina... I knew and I didn't tell anyone... I was stupid and I didn't stay at home when I knew that Soni was always in danger because those girls are crazy...

I cried.

Soni is so important to me...

She's my little sister.

And I don't want anything bad to happen to her.

It's 6am now.

Maybe I should apologise to Soni again and tell her that everything is going to be ok and that we are here to help her.

I got up from my bed and walked to Soni's bedroom.

I knocked on the door, but she didn't answer.

I knocked again, but I couldn't hear any sounds.

Probably she's still asleep.

I opened the door carefully so she wouldn't wake up.

"Soni... It's Hobi. I just wanted to apologise again because I know that it's not your fault... It's my fault actually because I should've stayed in the house with you, but I was dumb enough to let you alone." I sighed.

She didn't answer... Is she mad at me?

The room is still dark because I didn't turn on the lights.

So I turned them on.

"Soni?..."

Is she not in her room?

Maybe she's in the bathroom.

I walked to her bathroom door and placed my hear to check if she was there.

But all I could hear was a big nothing.

I opened the door and she wasn't there. Where could she be at this hour?

I walked through the whole house, but I couldn't find her.

"Where is she?" I asked to myself.

Then, I remembered that she told me the girls wanted her to leave the house.

"No..."

I ran to her room again and opened her closet.

"No, no, no... Where is she?!" I shouted.

"Hyung, what happened?" Jimin appeared with his raspy voice and sleepy face.

"Soni... She's not here!"

"What do you mean, hyung?"

"Are you blind?! She's not in the house!"

"Relax, Hobi hyung... Probably she went on a walk." Jimin said with his eyes almost closing.

I slapped him.

"Wake up, Jimin! Think straight! She ran away from us!"

He widened his eyes when he realized what I was saying was true.

"How did that happen?!" He was freaking out now.

"It's because of those girls that attacked Mina! They told Soni that she should leave the house."

"And why would Soni listen to them?"

"Because they're crazy and they can do bad things to other people if she doesn't do what they want!"

"Oh no, hyung... We have to find her! What if the girls find her and do something to her?"

Now, I was freaking out.

"Go wake up the others! We're going to find Soni."
