Rose's POV

I rolled over to see Dimitri looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Morning Comrade!" I said placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Morning Roza!"

He wrapped his arms around me.

"Are you ready for today?" he asked me.

I didn't say anything.

Was I ready to meet my sister?

"Roza?"

Dimitri used his finger to tilt my head up. Looking into his eyes, I saw concern.

"I'm not sure." I told him honestly.

Dimitri kissed the top of my head.

"It will be ok!" he told me.

I shook my head.

"I'm not so sure about that. What if she thinks we're crazy or what if she doesn't want to help?" I said in a rush.

He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"If she's anything like you, she'll want to help!"

I laughed.

"What's so funny?" Dimitri asked looking confused.

"If she's anything like me then you and the others will have a hard time keeping her tamed!"

Dimitri started laughing with me.

"Let's just hope that she's a little more controlled than you are!" he told me.

He leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"Come on Comrade! We have to get ready!"

I gave him a quick kiss and went to take a shower.

After we both took a shower and got dressed, we grabbed our over night bags and headed for Court's airport.

As we got closer to the plane, I saw Lissa and Court Guardians. Lissa was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.

"Hey Liss!" I said when we got closer to her.

"Hey Rose!" she said with a smile.

I walked ahead of Dimitri her a hug.

"I'll be on the plane." Dimitri told me.

"Ok!"

"You ready for today?" she asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be!"

Her face wore a sympathetic look.

"It'll be ok Rose."

"I know! I'm just nervous!"

Just then, Eddie came up to us.

"You'll be ok Rose!" he told me.

"Thanks Eddie!"

"What are brothers for?"

He punched me lightly on the shoulder.

"We'll I better get going!" I told them.

I gave them both hugs.

"Love you Liss! Love you Eddie!"

I waved at them as I boarded the jet.

"Love you!" I heard them both say.

When I got on the jet, I saw my mother wearing her guardian mask. She sat on the right side of the jet with my father sitting next to her. He looked his casual self. On the left was...Adrian?

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

He already had a drink in his hand.

"I'm going with you to Kingsland!"

"Why?"

"Because I thought you could use the support Little Dhampir!"

I took my seat next to Dimitri, which was right behind Adrian.

"Thank you!" I told him.

"Anything for you Little Dhampir!" he gave me a wink.

Well I guess it's now or never! Time to go meet my sister!

Alex's POV

I haven't been to work since the incident. It's been three days and I can't stop thinking about it! The fact that I might have been the reason why that glass shattered scares me!

I was watching a third episode of "Gossip Girl" when my doorbell rang.
Getting up off the couch, I went to open the door. I opened the door to see Tammy. She wearing jean shorts, a white tank top, and white flats. Her hair was neatly tied back into a ponytail.

"Were the hell have you been?"

She pushed past me and entered my house.

"Come on in!" I said sarcastically.

"You don't pick up your phone so what the hell is going on?" she asked angrily.

I shut the door.

"I'm not feeling well!" I lied.

She glanced over at my tv.

"You're well enough to watch Gossip Girl!"

I grabbed my remote and clicked off the tv.

"Don't lie to me Alex."

I felt bad for lying, but I couldn't tell her the truth!

"I've just got some stuff going on right now!"

Her face softened.

"You could have just..."

She was cut off by my doorbell.

I opened the door to see five people standing there.

"Are you Alex Crawford?" a woman with red hair asked me.

"Yes!"

"We need to talk to you!"
