Chapter 2

Emma

“Oh, hi Tyler!” my heart pounded so hard I could almost feel I’m suffocating.

Then he smiled.

Now I can’t breathe!

 Hindi ako kumikibo, but deep inside, gusto ko tumili! Ang gwapo gwapo niya lalo na kung ganito kalapit.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk!!!!!! in my mind, I am shrieking!

“may nakaupo ba dito?” tanong ni Tyler. He pointed the armchair beside me.

“Ahm, wala pa.” I faced Harry. Nakangiti siya sa akin ng may malisya. He is freaking teasing me! Inirapan ko ang hudyo.  I can feel that I am blushing at sana nakatulong ang malaki kong eye glasses para maitago ‘yun.

Then there was silence.

I secretly looked at Tyler only to find out that he is staring at me.

Kabug kabug kabug kabug kabug

My heart is pounding triple time. Papatayin yata ako ng lalaking ito sa heart attack!

“I’m Tyler McGregor.“ He offered his hand.

Nagulat ako ng si Harry ang umabot ng kamay ni Tyler. “I’m Harry Lee, nice to meet you.”

Then after the handshake, there was an awkward silence.

Nahihiya ako kay Tyler. I’m not normally like this, I have always believed na isa akong babaeng makapal ang mukha. But what do you normally do when your ultimate love is around?

“I’m Emma Rivera.” Nilakasan ko ang loob ko, I offered my hand. He accepted it with a smile. I tried not to mind my heartbeat.

 “Paano mo nalaman ang pangalan ko?” And tried not to look at him.

“I knew it since you volunteered taking care of the plants in the Botanical garden last year.” He smiled.

Oh my gosh! Please stop smiling. Tyler naman eh! Baka hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili kong maglupasay sa kilig! Bakit kasi ang charming charming mo? Oh you’re smile is melting me.I know you look really good, I have been dreaming of you every moment and I have your pictures all over my room… but seeing you this close…

“Do I have something on my face?” I heard he asked. I knew what he asked. But I somehow did not comprehend dahil wala sa sinasabi niya ang atensyon ko.

“huh?” napakunot ang noo ko. Then I heard some vibration, it turned out na may tumatawag sa cellphone ni Tyler. He excused and went  outside the classroom to to take the call.

I breathed out the tension in my chest then faced Harry.

“Ano daw yung mga sinabi niya?”

“May kulangot ka daw. Portruding. Yuck Beng Beng, gross! Si Tyler pa ang nakapansin.” Sabi ni Harry. Napasinghap ako sa tinuran niya.

“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!” nagmamadaling kinuha ko ang compact mirror sa aking bag. Hindi ko nahanap agad ang salamin. Napatayo ako sa kakahalungkat.

 I am very affected.

That is so embarrassing.

This is the very first time I talked to him.

First time to get this close after one year of fantasizing him.

And yet the first thing he hears is that I’m a witch who uses voodoo dolls and cursed people’s pubic hairs.
