Sophie pov
It had been fourteen years since Max was born and Ed and I were expecting our third child. We had gone to the doctor today and told him we wanted a c-section. He agreed and we had it scheduled.

I was in my room reading when the door opened. Max came over and sat on the bed.
" Mother." I put my book down and relaxed.
" What is it?"
"I was wondering if I could go on a trip with the others?"
" Where are you going?"
" We haven't decided yet. We want to go somewhere together."
" Let's talk to your father first. I don't mind but he might have a problem with you six going by yourself." Max nodded.
" Okay." I patted his head.
" Relax. I'm sure it will be fine." Max smiled and gave me a hug.
" Love you mom." I smiled and kissed his head.
" I love you my little man."

Once Ed got back we talked to him. Ed had sat down next to me and pulled me close.
" Hmmm. A trip?"
" Yeah. The guys and I were wondering if we could." Ed and I shared a look. I shrugged and Ed sighed.
" Let me talk to the others. We can't just let you boys go anywhere." Max looked upset for a minute. I smiled and spoke.
" But. Perhaps we can allow you boys to go on a trip to somewhere where we know you'll be safe on your own." Max looked up and hugged me.
" Thank you." He bowed and then took off. I chuckled.
" My love. Are you certain?"
" It might not be a bad idea Ed. It's been a while since they got to hang out." He nodded but worry still showed on his face. I chuckled and kissed him.
" Don't worry. They'll be fine." He chuckled.
" You're right. They're just growing up so fast." I laughed.
" Of course." Just then the door flew open and Eliza came running in. At only six she was already showing signs that she was like me.
"Mommy!" I smiled and turned to my daughter.
" What is it little angel?"
" Can we bake something?"
" Elizabeth let your mother rest. She needs it."
" But......."
" Elizabeth." She put her head down and whispered.
" Sorry." I smiled and bent down to pet her head.
" Tell you what. How about you go read for a bit and then we'll bake." Eliza looked up with a smile.
" Okay." She ran out of the room. I smiled and stood up. I went behind Ed and put my arms around his neck. He relaxed into my touch.
" Ed. Why don't we go rest for a bit? We still have to choose a name for the child." He chuckled.
" Sure. Then I should call the others." Just then Louis came in.
" Your majesties. The other kings are here with the princes." I sighed.
" So much for resting." Ed chuckled.
" Let's go greet them."

The two of us went to where the men were. Our friends were in regular clothes for once.

We discussed what the boys wanted while the boys talked and were in the garden.
" I'm still not sure. Letting them be on their own." Wil said.
" True. But they do need a break." I smiled wryly.
" Phie. You have an idea." I nodded my head.
" Yes. I do. Perhaps there is a way to let them out of our sight without fully letting them out of our sight." They looked at me with curiosity. I stood up and went to my desk.
" Grandfather often told me that there are islands that are owned by our family that are connected but not seen as connected. The path to connect them can only be found if the person knows where they are going. And the island has security of course."
"Are you suggesting we go there and not tell the boys that we're close." Joshua asked. I shook my head.
" Not quite. Not us go but rather their butlers. That way they have someone close should they need it." The guys all thought.
" That's a good idea. We won't have to worry about them if we do this." The other nodded in agreement. Just then the door opened.
" Mommy. Are you done?" Oh. I had forgotten about Eliza. I smiled and motioned my daughter over. She ran over and hugged me then put a kiss on Ed's cheek.
" I promise I'll be done soon. Just a little longer. Okay?" She nodded and hugged me.
