delilah pov. It was Thursday and we had two days until Millie's party so me and bexley decided to go look for outfits. I decided on going to the mall in a baby pink milk shirt a pair of mom shorts some white and pink nikes and my pink fjallraven kanken backpack it was simple yet cute so I loved the outfit. Bexley sent me a text indicating that she was 10 minutes away from my house I texted back asking what mall we would be going to she responded with "The grove ☺️" i haven't been there in a while so I was really happy. I put my brown hair in a ponytail and put on some lip balm I heard a knock and realized that bex was here.
35 minutes later we arrived at the mall we said goodbye to bexley's mom and head to the entrance. The first store we went in was Nordstrom since we were there for dresses we went to the dress section. We looked around for a couple minutes until we both stumbled upon the two perfect dresses I picked out a white laced dress with a pair of black strappy heels, bexley got a black dress with floral patterns embedded in the top half and for shoes she picked out a pair of silver strapped heels. Satisfied with our outfits we checked out and made our way to brandy Melville my favorite store. We looked around and I found a couple shirts and some strapless crop tops then I got another pair of shorts me and bexley got matching mustard yellow sweatshirts they were so cute. We hit a few more stores like top shop pacsun the van store and a bunch of other.
After we were done shopping we decided to get dinner at Cheesecake Factory and catch a movie. For dinner I got shrimp pasta a lemonade and a slice of birthday cake cheesecake even though it wasn't my birthday, Bexley got the fried calamari a Pepsi and a slice of plain cherry cheesecake. Dinner was amazing and we spent the whole time laughing and joking around then we went to the movies. We saw the new jumanji movie and it was amazing I even cried a little at the end, when bexleys mom came to pick us up we decided to go back to her house and watch another movie.
Getting back to bexleys house we go to her movie room/ basement and grab a bunch of blankets some drinks and popcorn. She gets her dvd copy of IT and puts it into the DVD player we get on the couch and watch the movie laughing at how small all the boys look. Half way through the movie we posted a picture of us watching it on Snapchat and about 15 minutes after that Finn FaceTimed me. "Are you watching it?" He asked as soon as I answered the phone. "Of course we are wolfhard." Bexley says moving into view so Finn could see her. "That movie is horrible turn it off." He said as I flipped the camera around so he could see the scene that we were currently watching. "You sure about that froggy boy because this guy richie is pretty funny" I say teasing him and making a weird face. "DOESNT SMELL LIKE CACA TO ME SEÑOR!" I hear a voice from across the room scream. suddenly a small curly headed boy comes into view next to finn and bexley immediately turns away from the phone. "Hey jack." I say with a smile on my face trying to ignore the fact that bexley was making face from across the couch. "Hey is bexley there" he asked genuinely. I look at her and she shakes her head indicating she didn't want me to tell him she was right next to me. I didn't want to lie but I didn't want to betray my bestfriend so I settled for the next best option. "She isn't um available right now." I say trying to convince the boy on the phone screen. Bexley then takes my phone and says "I don't wanna talk to you now or ever again jack go talk to Ellie!" With a disgusted look on her face. She hung up the phone threw it to the side and continued watching the movie.
My mom finally came to pick me up and it was getting really late I had already texted Finn and apologized for bexley hanging up on him. I got home around 11:30 and I was super tired but of course I had to post one more picture on Instagram before I went to sleep. I went through my camera roll until I found the picture of me with my new vans at the store. It was kind of aesthetic so it went perfect with my theme.
