delilah pov. The rest of that party was super fun and I got to hang out with everyone else like David and joe we had an incredible time and I even go to see the season 3 trailer for stranger things. Towards the end of the night finn asked me to come outside with him I set down my cup next to bexley and walked with him. As we made our way outside I could tell he wanted to tell me something and I was really confused. "I just wanted to apologize for what happened earlier with everyone in the group chat." He finally said as he looked at me with anxious face. " don't worry about it finn it was really no big deal" I say back trying to ease the conversation. "I just wanted to make sure that you weren't mad or upset about it" he replies and I can tell that he wanted to get something else out. "Finn why don't you just tell me what's really on your mind?" He begins to talk but before he could say anything Millie comes running towards us with her phone. We look at her confused and she can barley make out words until finally I yell at her. She motions towards her phone and we see what she was referring to it was a article on tmz with a picture of me and Finn and the headline was "child actors Finn Wolfhard and Delilah Rose rumored to be dating!" I look back and forth from Finn to the screen as I stare in disbelief. Suddenly my phone starting beeping with thousands of notifications from Twitter and instagram. I quickly take out my phone and scroll the the notifications " are u and Finn dating" "i ship you and Finn" "you guys are so cute together" I run back inside to find bexley and I see everyone staring at their phones when they see us walk back inside the quickly look up. Bexley runs up to me with confusion "are you and Finn dating?" She says to me with a surprised look. "What the hell no I don't know why they posted that!" I respond full of anger people were lying and posting rumors about me and Finn. Even though I like him I didn't know if he liked me back and I didn't want him to be mad.
I stayed in Millie's room the rest of the party and looked at all of the comments and post the more and more I saw the more upset I got I decided to post something to clear the rumors.

Everyone finally left and it was me bexley and Millie all sitting around Millie's room. We were talking about her and Jacob and how cute they were as we were talking my phone started to beep once again with notifications and it was a all coming for a post that Finn made.

The picture caught me by surprise and Millie and bexley could both see the look on my face. They too my phone and stared at the screen with huge smiles on their face. I read Finns text over and over again and I didn't know what to do or what to say all this time he has felt the same way. I don't know why I didn't text him back and tell him how I felt I guess I was scared. Millie and bexley practically snatched my phone from me when they saw me staring at it and they read the messages. "Why the hell did you leave him on read?" Bexley asked me with a angry look on her face i could tell she was mad at me for not telling Finn how I felt but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. "Because I didn't know what to say." I say back to her trying to explain that I was scared and confused. She threw my phone back to me angrily and picked up her on phone rolling her eyes at me in the process. Millie on the other hand was completely shocked at what she read. "Oh god delilah you need to text him back." She says to me with wide eyes I could tell she knew something and I wanted her to spill. "Why do I have to?" I say wanting to know more about what she was talking about. "Finn never tells people how he feels especially girls so for him to come out about the fact that he likes you and post it on social media means he really likes you." She explains to me and I instantly felt bad not only did I ignore him but I was rude about it too I knew he would be mad at me so I didn't text him back that night I waited until the morning to text.
