I walked into my bus after Pierce The Veil's set and changed into something to sleep in before I crawled into my bunk, pulling out my phone and getting on Instagram. There were a lot of kids posting pictures and videos from my set asking about Jaime's bass. Then there were even more posting videos of Pierce the Veil's set. I just got off of Instagram after unblocking all of the guys from PTV. I did the same on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and any other site they might try to find me on.
I opened up my Tumblr once again and started scrolling through, looking at all of the posts that showed up on my dashboard. I followed a lot of blogs, with even fewer followers. My Tumblr wasn't known by the fans, it was always my private life on here. I loved looking at what people thought about me and the band without them knowing it was me.
I was just about to get off of Tumblr when a post caught my eye.
I don't know how I feel about Jaime and Lorraine getting back together. I mean, yeah, both of them were bummed about it all. But I mean, that was over a year ago. They honestly don't think that they know everything about the other person do they? It's the second day of Warped, that doesn't exactly sound like a great time to get back together with someone if you ask me.
I agreed with her in all honesty. It did seem absurd that Jaime and I were jumping back into a relationship. It didn't make sense to many fans, and even less of the people on Warped. I guess it'll just be left up to how the rest of Warped goes, because I can assure you that if this didn't go anywhere, it wouldn't leave Warped.
I reblogged the post and closed the Tumblr app. I opened up Twitter and scrolled through, laughing at tweets made by people I followed. One caught my eyes though.
JackAllTimeLow: @AlexAllTimeLow needs to bring me my Ben & Jerry's. A girls gotta cry!
I rolled my eyes and felt slightly guilty. A day. A single fucking day is all the time it took for me to replace him. It technically wasn't me replacing him though. I tried to replace Jaime with Jack
I tweeted out a response:
DFGLorraine: @JackAllTimeLow @AlexAllTimeLow why didn't I get an invite to this party? I wanna cry with my best girls.
AlexAllTimeLow: @JackAllTimeLow @DFGLorriane bring a spoon! There's always room for you on the party bus!
JackAllTimeLow: @AlexAllTimeLow @DFGLorraine and ice cream! This asshole still hasn't brought me any!
DFGLorraine: @AlexAllTimeLow @JackAllTimeLow I'm headed to bed. We'll make plans to have a party soon!
I closed the Twitter app and smiled that Jack and Alex still could make me smile and laugh. We hadn't really hung out since we toured with them, given, they were in Baltimore and we were in San Diego, slight distance problem.
I was about to fall asleep when I got a text from Austin.
Austin - Don't worry Rain, you made a good choice.
I knew what he was referring to. Austin was the only one other than my band members and PTV who knew my personal Tumblr. He probably saw the post I reblogged.
I turned my phone to silent and tossed it to the wall of my bunk and rolled over, falling asleep.
~~~
I woke up the next morning, hearing a lot of laughter coming from the front lounge. I rolled my eyes when I walked out there and saw my band and crew gathered around the table hunched over a laptop.
I assumed they were Skyping someone since they rarely gathered like that. We usually just sent funny pages or pictures to one another.
"Lorraine, come say hi to Trenton!" Blake smiled, waving me over. I stood by the table and turned the laptop towards me.
"Morning, Lorraine!" he said, his voice playing through the speakers of the laptop, "you're hair is fab. But, really, congrats on the Jaime score!" he said, making me laugh at the use of fab.
"I'm leaving now," I said, "but I'll talk to you later Trenton. And you're the one who scored Blake!" I said making both boys blush as I turned the laptop back towards Blake and walked to grab fresh clothes from my suitcase.
I walked into the back lounge, locking the door behind me. I changed into a pair of light washed skinny jeans along with a black Aspire & Create tank top. Austin gave it to me forever ago, when he first started the line. When the line had barely gotten any business.
I walked out and grabbed my phone off of my bunk. "We play at three today, don't we?" I asked, evoking a nod from Jake. I walked past them into the bathroom and ran the straightener through it a few times, gettings the kinks out from sleeping on it last night.
"I'm going to visit people who I haven't talked to in a while," I say, opening the door to the bus, turning towards them all.
"Meaning, people you haven't talked to since you and Jaime broke up since you only knew them through him," Emma said, smiling at me ever so sweetly.
"Precisely," I said as I walked out of the bus, shutting the door behind me. It was eleven, so I knew that Asking Alexandria wouldn't be awake, and neither would the people who had been to their party last night.
I walked around, deciding to go to catering and smiling when I saw Tony standing in line. Once upon a time he was one of the closest people in Pierce the Veil to me. He's actually the one who convince Jaime to ask me out in the first place. I guess I just never talked to any of them once I was kicked out of Jaime's life.
"I spot a wild eyed Mexican," I said, walking up behind him. I watched as the grin on his face spread, this being the first time he'd talked to me in a year, since we didn't talk much at their set yesterday.
"Hey, Lorraine," he smiled.
"Hey, Tone. How've you been?"
"Oh you know, typical. Making music, living life."
I nodded, as we moved through the line, carrying on normal conversation as if we never stopped talking for a year. We moved and sat at one of the tables set up for catering.
"So, you're back with Jaime," he started, as if he hadn't been at his own set yesterday.
"Really? I had no clue! Thank you so much for telling me," I said with sarcasm dripping off of my words, a smile etched on my face.
"Not the main point. Have you been on Twitter or anything since?"
"Yeah, the typical amount of hate as normal. Nothing too severe. By the way as of last night, you're unblocked from my life now."
"Good to know."
We carried out a conversation, eating the food we had picked up before deciding to walk around and try to find some other poor souls to suck into our boring hours of life. Warped was fun, but when people weren't awake or socializing it got to be a bit boring. There were a few fans walking around, mainly they were at the various stages watching the bands perform there.
I followed Tony onto his bus, he had told me that Jaime, Mike, and Vic all went to Asking's party for a little while so they were beat. I nodded and followed him into the front lounge. Vic was awake and looked like shit, to put it lightly.
"Jaime's asleep still, you can go get him if you'd like. His bunk is the same as always," Vic said, smiling before dragging Tony into a conversation about their band and a song he was writing.
I turned and started walking towards the bunks, bottom on the left, just like always. I pulled the curtain open and saw Jaime laying there with his shirt off. I crouched down so that I was to the height I needed to be to crawl into the bunk. I crawled in, lifting Jaime's arm and setting it on my stomach. He started to stretch, immediately removing his arm from my stomach.
Once, he woke up he turned towards me, "were you watching me sleep?"
"Maybe, maybe not," I smiled, shrugging and rolling onto my stomach.
"Creeper, maybe I should block you from my life," he smiled, kissing me shortly, and gently.
