Uma's POV
In the two weeks since they were back together Uma and Harry quickly became inseparable once more. As long as they weren't working the two were nearly almost together, things were slowly getting back to normal. The only thing Uma couldn't handle was Harry not wanting to move back in right away, apparently, he didn't feel right moving back in so soon. It was killing Uma but she was doing her best to respect his wishes, she just hoped he would get over whatever funk this was so things were completely normal again.
Though Harry no longer lived there that didn't stop him from offering to invite Prince Eric, his family and a few other people, Including his roommate Matthew and his girlfriend Megan, over for a Christmas party. After the events of the last party, Uma had to admit that she was a little nervous, last time Harry had proposed and they broke up shortly after. Though she was sure he knew better this time around, Uma seriously hoped he wasn't planning another stunt like that again.
Thankfully that wasn't the case and as people started arriving Uma found herself getting a little more comfortable as Harry introduced her to many unfamiliar faces before leaving her to talk with Megan along with a few of the other significant others. They were sitting on the couch when Megan suddenly said: "You should see the Christmas present Uma has picked out for Harry." Loudly and Uma had to intervene in case he was to hear what they were talking about "Keep your voice down Megan." She said urgently but it fell on deaf ears, Megan had had just a little too much to drink to care about what was being said "Apparently when they were still on the Isle they had their own pirate crew," she said enthusiastically "Well Uma here tried having their old ship over so she could have it restored but Captain Hook took it over, so instead she got him a boat since he loves being on the water" she continued and there was a chorus of a was that followed it.
It was true, Uma had tried to get his ship off of the Isle of the Lost so she could fix it and then surprise him with it but it had fallen through. It wasn't a ship but something. "When is it going to be dropped off?" Megan asked, bringing Uma back to reality though she was unaware the conversation had continued without her "Late tonight or early in the morning so Harry won't see it." Uma answered all she had to do was text Gil whenever Harry went to sleep so he could bring it by. Caught up in her conversation Uma hadn't noticed Harry come up behind her and jumped a little when he wrapped his arms around her "So I won't see what?" He asked, fully capturing her attention and causing the others to immediately refrain from asking anything else while he was around.
Acting like it was nothing she said: "We weren't talking about you, one of the others didn't want her boyfriend to see his Christmas present." She lied easily, though the look on Harry's face told her that he wasn't buying it yet he decided not to press it anyway. Instead of questioning her further Harry said "I need to borrow Uma for just one second, excuse us ladies," before pulling her away from the group and into the guest room. Uma had no idea why they were in there of all places so she turned to Harry with an expectant look on her face "Don't kill me, okay?" He told her and Uma could just feel the look on her face intensify "I invited Matt and Megan to stay tonight and spend Christmas morning with us.
Normally Uma would have been mad but earlier that day Megan had thanked her for opening the house to them and then explained everything when she realized Uma had no idea what she was talking about. Since she already knew there was no sense in getting angry and fighting about it on Christmas Eve Uma started to laugh. For obvious reasons that weren't the reaction Harry was expecting "Why are you laughing?" He asked, crossing his arms with a raised eyebrow "Megan told me when she got here this afternoon." She answered as she stopped laughing, a smirk remaining on her face as she said: "It seems that hers are bigger than someone else's." Knowing he would know exactly what she was referring to.
