Three weeks. Three weeks is how long your best friend and long time crush, Shouyou Hinata, has been ignoring you. You knew for certain that he was avoiding you as well as you knew the reason to why he would.

~flashback wooosh~

You stumbled drunkenly along the pavement with the hope of somehow getting home. Having just left a great party at your friends house you were undoubtedly drunk, which could possibly answer the question of where you were at the moment. Your original plan was to go straight home but somehow you had found yourself in front of the door of no one other than Shouyou. You knocked loudly on the door.

"S-Shouyou!" You let out a hic, "Open up pleeeease!"

A few moments later you saw the light inside turn on and the door cracked open revealing a sleepy looking Shouyou, who's sleep you have disturbed.

"Y-Y/N! What are you doing here?" He whispered yelled shocked as why you would be at his house at almost 4am. You smiled, your face faint red from the alcohol and the cold November air. You grabbed his face with both your hand and slammed your lips against his, way too drunk to proceed that the red-head wasn't kissing back you continued for a few more moments before pulling away, a happy smile still evident on your face.

"Shouyou, I loooove you! I love yo with all my heart, I love you so much I think I might die! I would hate for you to ever be with someone else! I loooove you!" You said, rather loudly, and went in to embrace the shorter male into your arms, only to have your heart crumble into pieces as the front door slammed in your face. You might have been drunk but you were very able to understand the situation, and so tears pooled in your eyes and you walked away to the direction of your own home.

You don't really remember how you got home in detail, one of your friends must have found you stumbling through out the city and drove you home. The memories of that night remain crystal clear and you can't help but let the tears slip out of your eyes, 'if I only didn't say anything everything would have been okay now.' But now it was too late, your friendship was already broken and you couldn't do anything to fix it. You broke down sobbing again, it wasn't like you but you didn't anyways but how could you not? He was all you ever wanted and without him your life was meaningless, and now he probably hates you. No, he definitely hates you now. You just sobbed harder at this, your whole frame shaking while you hugged your pillow for comfort.

'I need to apologize' you thought to yourself after calming down a bit. Even though your eyes were still red and your hair messy, you took took your car and drove right to Shouyou house. You parked the car in the driveway and knocked on his door.

Did you have a plan on what to say? Yes. Word for word you had rehearsed the apology in your head but the moment Shouyou opens the door, his eyes just as red as yours and face tired like he hasn't slept for days, you forgot all you wanted to say and a stinging pain broke out in your heart. You were the one who made him suffer and, to be honest, at that moment you could not live with yourself.

"Hinata I-" You were interrupted by Shouyou trying to shut the door on you once again. You put your foot in between the door and wall so that he couldn't close it and then opened the door with your hand. "Shouyou! I have something to say to you and then you don't have to see me ever again, so just please listen. I'm sorry about the confession! I know you don't like me that way, hell, you probably hate me now-"

"No!" You were interrupted once again by the shorter male. Surprised, you rose your head so you looked at his face and found him crying. His lip quivered and tears spilled out form his eyes at a fast pace. "I d-don't hate y-you! I like you but," a loud sob broke out from his throat before he continued, "I don't deserve your love."

You started at the red-head with wide eyes, not fully understanding the situation. He didn't hate you? More over, he actually liked you? After you had recovered from your  momentarily shock you smiled and let a laugh of relief past your lips as you shook your head. You then forced your way inside the house and embraced the shorter male into your arms.

"Shouyou, you deserve my love more than anyone. You're kind, beautiful and the best friend I ever had. If anything, I am the one undeserving of you, but still please, let me love you. I promise you won't regret it." You mumbled softly into his hair, but you knew he heard every word by the way his hands clenched at the back of your shirt and even though he still cried, he smiled into your chest. A moment of silence fallowed. It wasn't uncomfortable or filled with fear of being rejected, it was just their time to calm down in each others arms, were no one but them mattered anymore. The silence, however, was broken by Hinata nodding him head into your chest. You smiled happily and pulled away from the hug to look at Shouyous happy face. You then, with both palms, took ahold of his face and brought it closer to yours. Because of the height difference you hand to bend down and he had to stand of tiptoes, which you thought was extremely adorable. You then closed the distance between you and locked his lips in a loving kiss.

I guess drunk confessions aren't too bad...
