OKAY PPL. I KNOW THAT I AM DOING A REQUEST FROM MY EVIL FRIENDS ON THIS CHAPTER, BUT AFTER THIS THERE WILL BE NO MORE REQUESTS. ALSO, TELL ME WHO UR FAVOURITE CHARACTER IS. IF YOU ARE ONE OF MY FRIENDS, YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR YOURSELF. ALSO NO AWKWARD COMMENTS PLEEEEEEASSSSEEE!!
"Where have you guys been?" Isabella yelled at the three of us. Oh....this may take some explaining.....
"We....were....uh....out?"
"Having a party." Scorpius lied, grinning his head off at her. Facepalm. He was completely awful at lying. Even a monkey could see through it. A baboon....with a rainbow butt.
"Like, a studying party." I tried to cover up. Isabella was still not going to believe us, but, worth a shot, right?
"Ohhhh.... Right."
"So how was the assembly?" Al asked from behind me and Scorpius, somewhat shakily.
"Boring. Like, a normal, boring school assembly."
"What was it about?" Well, the guys were interested in it, no clue why...
"Uniting the houses and such." Al groaned and I rolled my eyes. "You know, you're not the only ones that blew it off. Yada did and he got a week's worth of detention from Emerald. For every ten minutes that he missed" That made me laugh. It was typical of him to blow off something like that, but then again, it was typical of us to blow it off too. I expected two weeks of detention for every ten minutes, because unlike our 'friend' Yada, we hadn't been caught.
"And how long was this assembly?" When it came to detention, I got interested.....
"I don't know, like 2 hours....? I guess."
"NOOOOO!" I screamed, then actually did the math. "THAT'S COULD BE 240 WEEKS!!" I crumpled to the ground, sobbing. "So. Much. Detention."
"Why are you so upset? We haven't even got in trouble ye---" Scorpius was broken off by the voice of our "favourite" teacher. Emerald. "I spoke too soon." He muttered. Isabella took one look at our predicament and walked away in what she hoped was a casual way.
"Why? Whats wrong? What are you guys talking about?" Al asked, clearly confused as Will in our year picture.
"You three." She said, striding towards us. Oh crap.
"Yes professor?" I tried for innocent. It failed. As always, I could never pull off innocent.
"I don't remember seeing you three last night at the assembly, or any time after."
"Well, maybe, ma'm. We used Mr Potters invisibility cloak." Scorpius' voice was dripping with sarcasm.
"Scorpius, what are you talking about?"
"Way to go Al, you just blew our cover." Scorpius said, loudly enough for Emerald to hear out every word.
"Well, maybe Miss Hardy has an explaination for why you three did not show up. Why don't we give her a shot at lying and see how she does." Emerald just hates all of us, doesn't she?
"Professor, to tell the truth, Albus was dreadfully sick and Scorpius and I stayed back to help him." Wasn't a complete lie, I will say that. Scorpius stepped on Al's foot, which did not have any extra toes, just in time. He did not say anything stupid to get us in even more trouble. You know, I find that when people lie to get other people out of trouble, the person being lied for tends to tell the truth. It's stupid. Charlotte used to do that back in America.
"And why, may I ask, did you not take him to the hospital wing?" Oh, good question.
"He was embarassed. He was throwing up everywhere and didnt want to see the girl he liked" ah! Bravo Scorpius! Bravo. Al stayed quiet like the good little werewolf he was. I must give him a doggy treat.
