Okay holy crap. I apologize for not updating in like forever. I've had extreme writer's block and I've been busy. But this story is ending soon so stick with me a little longer :')

Arias sat up, rubbing her eyes.
She sighed, "I was here to comfort you but I ended being the one comforted." She looked to the side shyly and shamefully.

You giggled, "oi let me be the big sister sometimes!" You joked, giving a light punch at Arias' shoulder.

As Arias began to respond, you heard the slide of the door and a red headed boy peeking into the room shyly.

"Sorry, it's been awhile so I wanted to check on (y/n). Are you alright?" Karma said rather awkwardly, but in such a cute way it made you smile.

You nodded. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it, come in."

Karma slid the door open all the way and took quick strides next to you. Then wrapped his arms around you tightly with a sigh.

"I can't wait for you two get out of the hospital so we can-"

You gasped and slapped your hands over Karma's mouth. A little harder than you intended.

"Karma!" You yelled with a visible blush.

You turned to look at Arias giggling.
She looked up at the two of you with a smile. But a genuine one this one.

"Please take care of my sister." She said gently.

You almost smiled pleasantly before Arias added with a chuckle, "you see, she's quite a delicate one."

You blushed furiously.
"Arias!" You squealed. Frowning at the two people you loved the most in this world.

Although you protested and whined at their childish behavior, your heart felt light. To be able to laugh with them like this. It almost felt like you were a bird descending into the air.

You took a deep breathe and watched as Karma and Arias laughed, cracking jokes at each other. To see them laugh genuinely. It was almost like a dream. A sudden feeling of happiness filled your heart.

Everything happened so fast and suddenly the feeling you had a minute ago slowly slipped away when the three of you heard the knocks at the door.

"Come in!" You yelled since the door was quite a distance.

As the door slid open, you almost held your breathe for too long. And a sudden feeling of heaviness descended upon you.

Police officers?

You turned to looked at Arias' concerned but puzzled look.

"Good afternoon." A middle aged man whom you presumed to be the head officer greeted you with a cough.

"Good afternoon." You replied with a tiny voice.

"Are you miss (l/n) (y/n)?" He asked calmly and professionally.

Your eyebrows knitted together for a second before you nodded. "Yes, yes I am. Is something the matter?"

The man turned to the other two officers behind him, they murmured upon themselves before he turned to look at you with an unreadable expression.

"Your father's body was found along the coast of Chiba this morning."
