you were shaking your arms and legs today was your track meet but ever since your mom passed you weren't the fastest runner anymore. "(y/n)" you heard turning you see your boyfriend jack you smile and walk to the fence to where Matt,Nash,and Cam were their girlfriends were on track too. "Hey guys" you say they smile "alright huddle up!" your coach yells you blow Jack a kiss and run to the huddle "alright Amanda(A.k.a Nash's girlfriend) Fourth anchor, Emily(A.k.a. Matt's girlfriend) third anchor, Delilah(A.k.a. Cam's Girlfriend) second anchor,and (y/n) first anchor" he told you what! "1 2 3 go eagles" he said as you guys parted "guys why am i first anchor Delilah you were always first anchor" i say they smile "you didn't" you say "it was Jack's idea" Amanda says "but..." you say "but nothing look (y/n) you were and still are one of the fastest runners on track you can do it" Emily says you nod as you guys go into place.
Jack's POV
it worked she's first anchor i always came to all her track meets and she was always the fastest she's just depressed but she cant let that stop her from being one of the best runners on her team. they all got in position the coach lifted the the horn and they started running. we all cheered them on it started with Amanda she ran to Emily she turned and sprinted to Delilah (y/n) stood in place Delilah passed her the stick and she ran. "GO (Y/N) YOU CAN DO IT" i yelled as she ran i could see she started to slow down "(Y/N) GO RUN COME ON FASTER I BELIEVE IN YOU WE ALL DO" i yelled she smiled and ran even faster. come on ,come on the finish line was inches away.
it felt like slow motion when she does it she makes it past the finish line we all cheered them on i ran to her she turned to me as i grabbed her and spined her in circles she laughed. i put her down she turned to me and hugged me "you did it babe" i told her "only because your the best boyfriend ever" she says i grabbed her face and kissed her.
