This Can't Be Happening!

Nick's Pov

I went into town, it was dark and silent. I went on a murdering spree everything happened so fast. I was blinded by my emotions, that's one thing you never do. Fucking Rick man, he made this shit so difficult. Everyone was trying to hold me back, I think I killed about 200 humans? Yeah, just about. Do I feel bad? Honestly? No, it was the greatest feeling ever. Hearing them all scream and beg for mercy.

I slapped myself, I need to snap out of it. These feelings are being shared. My bond with Nicole is making me feel this way.

Earlier that day...

After talking with Xavier, I went to my room that Nicole was in. Only to find Rick standing in front of the door.

"Excuse me." I said, as I moved to reach for the door knob. Rick pushed me back.

"Rick, what the fuck is your problem? Never put your hands on me, now move."

"I'm sorry sir, I can't do that. I was given strict orders to not let anyone in." What the hell is he talking about? Only I can- Damn it Nicole.

"Nicole gave you these orders?" I questioned.

"Yes."

"Okay, um Nicole? Can you tell him to let me in?" I waited a few seconds, no response came. Where the hell is she?

"Where is she?" I started to get louder. In an instant my guards came and so did Xavier and his warriors.

"What happened sir?" Sam asked me.

"Nicole compelled Rick to not let anyone in. And it sounds like she's not in the room either."

"Rick get the fuck out of the way." Xavier yelled.

"Yelling at him isn't going to do anything, so calm down." Then I started yelling afterwards.

"Rick tell me what she told you!"

"Nicole. My queen. She told me that she was leaving to protect you and everyone else. She said that she had to find her brother for help doing something. I know exactly where she is headed."

"Well then what are you waiting for! Tell me." I screamed, power seeping through my voice.

"She told me that she was going to-" As soon as he was about to tell me, he stuck his hand in his chest and ripped his heart out.

"No! Nicole what the hell were you thinking?" I dropped to my knees and didn't say anything. I can't believe she would just leave without telling me. We are in this together, she knows I could've helped her.

That's when everything went dark, I no longer felt anything. No emotion was showing, I was blank. Everyone was trying to talk to me but I got up and walked out the palace. I went to the nearest town and then it began. I started killing people, for food and for fun. I drank from many, killed with power, and laughed while doing it.

It was amazing, but it got me nowhere. I went crazy and forgot that Nicole was gone. She could be anywhere by now, I wasted so much time being mad. All I want is her back and now that's what I have to do. Get her back.

Nicole's Pov

It's been about 8 hours since I left, and I felt Rick kill himself maybe 3 hours ago. My source told me that Nick went on a killing spree, now that I didn't expect. I gotta stop underestimating people. After the bar Liam took me back to his place. He lived in an apartment, very messy inside. It was just his cover though, he had a switch that changed the whole entire room into this white, well lit lab place. He had creatures in glass cages, and lots of computers and colored liquid in tubes everywhere.

It seems like it has been forever since I last saw him.

"So, how have you been?"

"Really? That's what you want to ask? I'm good sis, almost died... Again trying to save you, yet again."

"I'm sorry, It's not my fault." He was making me feel guilty about something I couldn't control.

"Oh, but it is. It's always your fault. You don't seem to understand that."

"Stop, okay? It's not my fault that someone else wanted to take over."

"You just don't get it. You can control your dark side. You just always let your emotions take over. Always."

"I don't know how to control it, it has a mind of its own."

"It's alright, I'm here to teach you how to control it. How to turn it on and off." I was scared, I have all of this power, yet I don't know what to do with it.

"I'm sorry what?"

"You heard me."

"Yes, I heard you, but I don't believe it."

"I'm going to help you. Stella is stronger than she lets on. Very strong, which is why Nick has the same powers as you. She told everyone that you gave him that power, but really it was her." I was shocked, I myself believed that I gave Nick the power. I remained silent.

"I'm guessing your silence means you didn't know. Well yea she gave him the power through birth. I'm here to teach you how to control your power and emotions because she can control it. And very well, which is why you can't sense that she is powerful. You need to be able to control it to take her out."

"Okay, when do we start?"

"Now."

And with that the training began. He did things that pissed me off to try to make my dark side come out. I'd be reading a book and then Poke* a few seconds after Poke*Poke*Poke*

"Okay! That's not working now stop."

"Fine, I know something that will work. You know.. I've been thinking. Maybe I should go and kill Nick, he's pretty use-" Before he could get another word out I flashed in front of him, hand at his throat.

"Watch how you speak peasant, you are below him. I should snap your neck for even saying such a thing."

"Nicole, wait! It worked." He chocked out.

"I'm sorry, that was the only way to get it to the surface. Can you please drop me so I can teach you some control?" He finished with a pained look. I dropped him and looked down upon him.

"Nicole, you have to calm yourself down. You'll never learn if your emotions keep getting in the way."

"You dare to call me by name? It is Queen to you- I'm sorry Liam I'm trying." It was hard speaking, every time I spoke, the words seemed foreign to me. Always negative things being said. I loved the power though, this feeling.... It's indescribable.

Xavier's Pov

I'm not even going to lie, I'm still in love with Nicole and I know it's wrong. I just can't help it, we've been through so much and now she's with Nick. Her feelings for me were all fake and that hurts. My wolf can barely keep it together when she's around Nick. I know she's no longer mine, but seeing her all the time, makes me want to fight for her. Obviously that didn't work the first time because I got my ass beat. But I'd do it again, if that meant winning her back.

"Ben, she's... she's gone again.We came here for our luna, only to lose her."

"Xavier, I know it's easier said than done but you gotta let her go. We lost her, she isn't our luna."

Crazy thing is, I couldn't even be mad at him because he was right. We lost her, I lost her and I probably won't ever get her back.
