I woke up to find Dean's face buried in my arm, which he was clinging to tightly. I smiled and slipped my arm out of his grip. His arms recoiled and he ended up hugging himself. I got off the bed and looked at the time. It was three pm. I went over to the small radio I had and turned it on, music started playing quietly. I couldn't help but sing along.
"Motorcycle's in the parking lot
Revving their engines and it just wont stopMatches the noise screaming in my head
Houston I think we got a problem
Where does everybody go when they go
The go so fast I don't think they know
We hate so fastAnd we love too slow
London I think we have a problem
And when I think about it
I just can't think about it
I try to drink about it
I keep spinning
Ave Mary A
Where did you go
Where did you go
How did you know
To get out of a world gone mad
Help me let go
Of the chaos around me
The devil that hounds me
I need you to tell me
Child be still
Child be still."I jumped as Dean hugged me. I smiled and kissed his chin. "Hi, I didn't know you were awake."
"Your singing woke me up." He said. His voice was raspy and deep from just waking up.
"Sorry."
"It's okay. There's no way I'd rather wake up." He grinned and kissed me. I blushed slightly and stood up on my tip-toes to keep him from breaking the kiss. We laughed and I went back to singing to the new song that came on. Dean happily listened.
"I don't know if I can yell any louder
How many time I've kicked you outta here?
Or said something insulting?
I can be so mean when I wanna be
I am capable of really anything
I can cut you into piecesWhen my heart is, broken
Please don't leave me
Please don't leave me
I'm always saying how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back to this
Please, don't leave me
How did I become so obnoxious?
What is it with you that makes me act like this?
I've never been this nasty
Can't you tell that this is all just a contest?
The one that wins will be the one that hits the hardest
But baby I don't mean itI mean it, I promise." Dean joined in and sung the next chorus with me. We danced along as we sung.
"Please don't leave me
Please don't leave me
I'm always saying how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back to this
Please, don't leave me
I forgot to say out loud how beautiful you really are to me
I can't be without, you're my perfect little punching bag
And I need you, I'm sorry.
Please, please don't leave me
Baby, please don't leave me
No, don't leave me
Please don't leave me
I'm always saying how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back,
It's gonna come right back to this.
Please, don't leave me.
I always say how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back to this
Please don't leave me
Baby, please don't leave me!" I held out the last note, like I do all too often, and Dean chuckled."You're a wonderful singer." Dean said, pulling me into his arms again, he hugged my waist.
"You're better." I retorted. We heard the door open and I saw Crowley and Alex poke their heads in.
"Is it normal for their lives to become musicals?" Alex asked.
"Yep." Crowley replied. They left and closed the door. I looked up at Dean, he shrugged and smiled.
"I have an idea. We should go somewhere, get dressed." He told me. I nodded and he let go of my waist. He smacked my butt when I went to walk off, causing me to spin round- my eyes wide.
"Dean!"
He frowned. "Sorry."
I smirked. "Don't be, it just surprised me." I kissed his cheek, then grabbed a change of clothes and hid in the closet to change. I came out in a button-up shirt and tie. I threw my new trench coat on over it and saw Dean sitting on his bed, on his phone.
He looked up. "Ready to go?" I nodded and we left the house. Dean called a taxi and I watched the passing buildings through the car window lazily. We drove to some nice park, and Dean opened the door for me before I could get out myself. He led me around and we ended up on top of a large hill. I didn't even realize we were there until Dean pointed it out.
"It's a nice view." I noted, hugging my coat closer as a cold breeze blew by.
"Yeah, almost as nice as you." Dean winked dramatically, and I rolled my eyes and giggled. We decided to lay down on the grass. Dean grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, I smiled at him and kissed his chin. He leaned down and connected our lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer. We parted and I cuddled into his side as we watched the clouds.
I like this. I really do.
