Chapter seven: The Battle

Faith's Pov~
We all got ready to battle. Suddenly, a soldier ran through the doors covered in soot. "Are you ok?" I asked. He nodded and said, "They set the field on fire." We all looked at each other and ran out the door. Before I could run after them, Sabre came down to us. "What happened!" He asked. Alexis went down to the field as I explained everything to him. He looked shocked but nodded and went to the field. I didn't go to the field. I went to the place where they held the Crystal Orb. It was still there, but I knew someone was going to come and try to take it. I put a force field around it and stayed there as a guard. When I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye, I swung around and pointed my bow, but it was just Reaper. "Though you could us some help." He said. I nodded and went back to the Orb. As I guarded on side, he guarded the other. Suddenly, 30 people came and attacked. They looked like ordinary people, but they were actually androids! "Why won't they die?!" Reaper yelled. "I think it's a distraction. Don't take your eyes off of the Orb!" I replied. Alexis and Genji came around the bend and started helping us. I shot an arrow at on of the androids noses, and it turned off!"Seriously!" I said. They all then realized where to hit the android to turn it off.

Alexis' Pov~
We all kept killing them and watching the Orb. "This is very weird." I yelled to Genji. He nodded and kept shooting the androids. Faith did a backflip and stopped an android from grabbing the Orb. "There starting to try and take it! We need more people." Faith said. Genji nodded and ran to get more soldiers to help. He came back 5 minutes later with Sabre, Mercy, and McCree. "Goodness what's going on?!" Mercy said. Genji explained everything to them and then they started to help. After they killed all 1000 androids, they stopped coming. "Where did they go?" Suddenly, Soldier 76 ran in and said, "We broke the power source so the androids are gone." Faith thanked him and he walked away. "That was the first battle I've ever had." Sabre said, breathing heavily. "Well, there will be a lot more while your here, kid." Alexis replied. Then they started to clean up the android bodies.
