Chapter five: Breaking the Spell

Alexis' Pov~
We walked into Faith's room, and Crystal jumped on me when I walked in. I laughed and picked her up, Faith walked over to her closet and opened secret door. "Turns out there's one in every room. Just have to find the entrance." She said. I walked in and it was some kind of Lab. "This is amazing!" I said, looking around. There was a work space where she does Science things, and there was another desk where she builds other things. She walked over to the Science desk. "We need to make a potion that breaks the Spell that's causing them to argue all the time." Faith said, mixing different potions to make the perfect mix. "Kind glad we haven't started eating with them yet, huh." I said, she nodded. "Yeah, no kidding." She said. I walked around, this place is so cool, I thought. Crystal started wiggling so I put her down and she ran to a bed in the corner of the room. "I put her extra bed in here in case we needed to hide down here." Faith said. "There. It just needs to brew for five minutes and we should be good to go." She started walking to me but stopped suddenly in her tracks. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Someone's here." She replied. She looked around, then she grabbed her Bow and pointed it at a corner of the room and shot it. An invisible bionic soldier that was hiding there became visible and fell unconcious. "How did you know he was there?" I asked in shock. "It's one of my powers, I can sense when someone invisible is in the room or area." She said putting her Bow away. The potion was done, so we took it and brought the soldier with us to be put in the OverWatch prison. When we got downstairs, everyone had separated and they were doing what they normally did except everyone was giving dirty looks to anyone that passed them. "We need to fix this quickly." Faith said. I nodded. "Perfect timing. It's lunch, so if we hurry we can pour it on the food before they get it." I said. Faith raced into the Cafè and back to me in a second. "There." She said. Then, we brought the soldier to the prison guards to put him in. They gave us ugly looks, but took him away.

Faith's Pov~
An hour later, everyone was passed out on floor. "Is this because of the potion?" Alexis asked. I nodded. "It's sapposed to happen, that's how it works, they'll wake up soon and be back to normal." I replied. She nodded and walked to her room. I started walking to the training room, but salons person not passed out. It was Reaper. "How are you not like the others?" I asked. He looked at me and said "I wasn't infected. I was acting because Krane was watching us." I looked at him catously and he was telling the truth. "But, why did you sound so angry." I asked. "I'm good at impressions kid." He said, and he flew off. I like that guy, I thought. Once I got to the training room, I practiced my dodging, aiming and shooting skills. I had just shot an arrow at the dummy, when a bullet whizzed past my face. I looked up to the balcony to see Reaper standing there with his guns out. I smiled. If he wants to practice, he'll get the real me, I thought. I zoomed away and he looked around in shock. Then I made my move and zoomed to his side. "Bye." I said, and I shot him in the arm with my poison arrow. He died and re-spawned right behind me. I knew that's where he would re-spawn and was one step ahead of him. He shoot his gun at me, a split second before it hit me, I blocked it with my force field. It bounced off and hit him instead. He re-spawned and put his guns away. "Your fast, that's good." He said. "Thanks." I said. Just then, everyone started to wake up. "Ugh, what happened? I feel like I just fought a battle." Genji said. "Your tired, that's one of the side affects. Go get rest." I said to him. "What side affects?" He asked. Reaper looked at me and said, "We'll tell you later." And with that, Genji walked off.
One hour later
Genji walked down to lounge where Alexis, Reaper, Mercy and I were sitting. "So, what happened?" He asked again. Reaper, Alexis and I smiled and told them the story. "Wow." They said when we were done. "We were really under a Spell?" Mercy said. Alexis nodded and said, "Yep. Even he got to you!" We all laughed. "We need some sleep, we have a big day of training tomorrow." Genji said. We all said goodnight and separated. Except Reaper stayed. "Don't you need sleep?" I asked. He took off his mask and sat next to me. "So do you....."  "What are you....." He interrupted me. "Want to practice with me tomorrow at 5:00 sharp?" He smiled. I blushed. "Ummm, sure." I said. He smiled and stood up. "Great, see you then." And he flew to his room. I smiled and blushed. Then I looked up to the balcony to see Alexis smiling down at me. I laughed and ran up to her. "Did you see that!" I asked. She nodded. "Looks like someone has a crush!!!" She said. "I do not!" I laughed. We said goodnight and went to bed.
