Deep within the woods, Seto Kaiba walks on a path. He starts to reminisce about events in his life. He knows that his current actions and feelings have stem far beyond this generation, all the way back to where the Millennium Puzzle was formed.

In ancient Egypt, a boy named Seto was born. At a very young age, he moved away with his mother to live in another village, never knowing who his father was. Little Seto never knew what the future had in store for him, a connection to a girl and her secret that would change his life forever.

Teenager Seto was out exploring one night when he saw that his village was on fire. He was very shocked to see this, and he knew exactly who was responsible for setting it off.

About an hour ago, Seto noticed a girl with white hair and blue eyes who was held captive. He knew that this wasn't right and that he had to save her. He freed her, and they rode off together on his horse, where he told her to follow the path that lead to the nearest town. From there, she can find people who could help her. He hopped off his running horse while the girl asked him what his name was. Seto shouted out his name as the girl and the horse disappeared into the night. This girl would remember his name for years to come.

The captors remembered the face of the boy who helped their prisoner escape. They were the ones who burned Seto's village. When they caught Seto, he called out for someone to help him. Then, a dragon appeared out of nowhere, and fear ran down his captors' spines. They ran to escape, but the dragon's rage struck down on them. They were never to be seen again.

Seto looked up and saw that the captors were gone. All that was left was the dragon, soaring through the night above the burning village. Seto stared at the dragon in awe. He wondered if he would ever see it again.

Many years later, Seto worked up through the ranks to become part of the Pharaoh's court. He became known as Priest Seto, Guardian of the Millennium Rod. When he was in trouble, the girl with the white hair and the blue eyes from his past came back. The girl revealed that her name was Kisara. Seto learned quickly about Kisara's secret. She carried within her the spirit and soul of the mighty Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Kisara came back to help Seto in any way that she could. She would do anything to protect him from any harm that came his way. She even risked her own life to save him.

Time passes. Seto watches Kisara, even though he knows that she won't be coming back. Without really knowing it, he realizes that her presence has impacted his life. Seto vows to protect Egypt and the Pharaoh from any harm.

The great battle ensues. When the world gets into trouble and starts to turn bleak, his last thought was of Kisara falling into his arms, saving him from certain death. He collapses to the ground.

While Seto rests to regain back his strength, he thinks about Kisara. Just like in a dream, she appears right in front of him. She reminds him that her spirit and soul isn't lost. It's inside the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Seto thinks about the first time he had seen her call forth the White Dragon.
