Characters: Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Yugi Muto

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Something was just about to attack Yami. Then, all of a sudden, something moves in quickly in front of him and blocks it. Yami looks over and sees that Seto Kaiba has saved him. Kaiba looks up and smiles.

According to Kaiba, he thinks that it is kinda funny how often Yami and him seem to run into each other. He asks Yami for a duel sometime. Yami looks at him. He never turns down a duel, especially if it's with Kaiba.

But, Kaiba wasn't just asking for a regular duel. He wanted to have that feeling of passion he gets when dueling Yami. Kaiba never gets this excited to duel anyone but him. He gives Yami a time and a place to meet. They both bring out the best in each other, and apparently, Yugi is catching on their attraction.

Yugi has been noticing Yami's frustration lately with himself. He thinks Kaiba might be able to help Yami loosen up and feel better. So, when Yami was away, Yugi gives a tip to Kaiba to throw an unexpected smile to strangers every once in a while. He says that's how he's going to get Yami's attention. Kaiba starts doing this, and Yami starts to notice.

Kaiba prepares for his duel against Yami. He has some big intentions going into this duel. He smiles, probably knowing what the outcome of this duel will lead to. Yami arrives and sees Kaiba already standing there, posted at his station, ready to begin this duel. But, before anything happens, Kaiba proposes an idea to Yami: They should trade one card with each other before they start dueling.

Kaiba and Yami come face-to-face within each other. Yami says that he's been noticing Kaiba's smile for quite sometime lately. Kaiba smiles as he takes Yami's card away. He reminisces and talks about that day when they first met.

Kaiba was reading a book in school when he overheard a group of students talk about Yami being the best duelist. At first, he didn't believe them. Everyone knew that Kaiba was the best and that no one was able to beat him at all. Kaiba invited Yami to come over to his place and duel. He just wanted to see how long Yami would last compared to the others that faced him before. So, they duel against each other for a pretty long time, but somehow, Yami was able to prove his reputation to overcome the odds and beat Kaiba. When his life points hit zero, Kaiba starts to realize his feelings for Yami that day.

And, ever since that day, Kaiba has always been looking forward to dueling Yami, let alone, just seeing him. Kaiba gives Yami his card and walks away. Yami watches him pretty closely, trying to figure out what Kaiba was thinking.

Kaiba turns around and reveals how he really feels about him, pouring out his heart and thoughts out to him. Yami just stands there, saying absolutely nothing at all. Kaiba wonders if he messed this up already and hits his head. But then, he looks at Yami and decides that he doesn't believe that he did. Yami turns around and faces away from him, not knowing what to say or do at this point. Kaiba thinks that Yami also has feelings for him as well. He starts to smile. He tells Yami to don't deny his feelings. Yami falls to the ground, feeling a bit frustrated about not knowing how to respond, like his heart was in a headlock, just waiting for something to happen. Kaiba calls out Yami's name, and something just lights up inside of him. Kaiba points to Yami and tells him, "You know you're better than this."

So, what happens at this point? Do they pursue a relationship from now on? Will they be able to duel each other like they have been before? What cards do you think Yami and Kaiba gave to each other? You decide how this goes.
