Luna sat down at her seat in first period and noticed the people around her. Some red head, a brunette, another brunette.

Ugh all boring people. They don't have one interesting thing about them. Hopefully I won't die of boredom, she thought.

Finally, she looked behind her. Sitting there was the most beautiful girl she had ever seen. She had golden hair, soft baby blue eyes, a light but beautiful skin tone and virtually no makeup. She was... beautiful.

The girl caught Luna staring at her and Luna turned back around, blushing. The girl giggled and tapped Luna on the shoulder.

"Hey, caught you staring at me. I'm Sol by the way. What's your name?"

"Oh, uh-uhh, my name's Luna. Nice to meet you Sol. I love your hair, it's beautiful."

"Thanks, it's nothing much. I love your black hair and your sultry dark brown eyes, you're hot."

Luna felt her dark brown cheeks light up. Sol started writing down intently. A few moments later she handed Luna a number and smiled.

"That's my number. Call me if you need anything. If you give me yours I can call you with some details so we can hang out sometime." She said with a rising pitch, indicating a hidden question.

"Oh uh yeah sure but I don't have any paper, can I just write it on your arm?"

Sol nodded her head and Luna wrote on her soft skin with a beautiful ruby pen, Luna's favorite color.

"Luna! Sol! Pay attention, this is class!" The teacher snapped.

"If you feel the need to talk you must know the answer, what does the flower bouvardia symbolize and what family is it in?"

Luna gulped, she knew nothing about flowers and she did not want to get a detention. Her parents would never forgive her, because at her school parents had to pick up their children from detention.

I bet my parents wouldn't even bother picking me up unless I payed them or the school demanded them to. I would be at detention for eight hours...minimum.

Luna looked at Sol and her eyes lit up. She broke into a big smile and jumped up.

"Bouvardia symbolizes enthusiasm and the name of the family it's in is rubiaceae. Sorry for jumping up like a maniac, I just love flowers. I used to find them in nature, put them in bouquets and sel..."

"That's enough Sol. And very good. I suppose Luna isn't as competent as you. Sorry for the misunderstanding." The teacher replied, eyeing Luna harshly.

Luna's heart sank. She knew she shouldn't get upset over something as small as this but it really hurt her. She felt like crying, but she held it in for the rest of class.

She went through the rest of the classes and nothing happened. Sol was in none of her other classes and she thought she might be able to see her during lunch.

The bell rang for lunch and Luna ran to the cafeteria area. It was dingy, dirty and looked as if it hadn't been used for months. She looked everywhere in the area for Sol but didn't find her anywhere. No one else came in, which would explain a lot.

I must be obsessed with Sol if I'm willing to stay in this dirty place to look for her. I should probably go. Lunch is almost over and there's no use in looking under the tables for her as well.

She heard the bell ring and nearly ran to class, just making it. She looked around the room crazily, looking for Sol. As she saw Sol wasn't in there, she plopped down in a seat in the back and took out her notebook.

Sol wasn't in the last three of her classes and that made Luna upset. She truly felt they clicked and vowed to text her when she got home. Until then, she had to walk home with her friend Asher. They had no classes together either and Luna felt truly alone, even as they walked home.
