When she got home she saw that she had a message from an unknown number.
Sol
She immediately started typing quickly to respond to Sol's simple "Hey it's Sol" with a "Hey it's Luna. Do you wanna hang out today?"
Sol quickly replied with a sure and asked Luna where she lived. Around ten minutes later someone rang the doorbell and sure enough, it was Sol.
"Sol! How are you? I was thinking we could go to the park. It's not very crowded and there's beautiful statues."
"I'm good and sure. It's such a beautiful day. Here I got you this." Sol replied as she outstretched her arms and gave Luna a present.
Luna started to open the present as they walked out the door. It was a drawing of Luna in perfect detail. Her hair flowed out into flower petals and her freckles were hearts. Her eyes went wide as she looked over it. It was beautiful.
"Thank you so much Sol! This is amazing. When did you find time to make this?" Luna questioned.
"Ah it's nothing. It's just a little sketch I did in class. I figured we would be hanging out a little. I might be a little attracted to you anyways." Sol said as she chuckled.
Luna blushed and tried to hide it with her hand. Eventually, they got to the park and only saw one other person and they were walking out of the park anyways. It was in a pretty remote place that only a couple people visiting it each day. Sol spotted a slide for little kids and pointing to it, and they started running towards it, destined to have fun.
"HA you wish you could catch me!" Luna yelled as she jumped up onto the platform first, earning a smile from Sol.
Sol jumped up a second later accidentally crashing into Luna. Their faces were inches apart and Sol started to close the gap before suddenly poking Luna's nose and going down the slide.
Luna stood there a couple seconds more, shocked at what just happened. She snapped out of it when Sol whooped as she landed on the ground. Luna threw herself down the slide again and arrived to a waiting Sol, beckoning towards the path into the forest.
"What do you think Luna? We could mess around in the woods for a couple minutes and then we can leave. All the time it took walking here wasted our precious time together."
Luna looked down at her watch and nodded. They both started rubbing into the woods, giggling.
"Okay, okay lets play a game. Have any ideas?" Sol asked.
"What are we, two? Can't we just walk around a bit?" Luna replied.
"Uhm duh. Why can't we have fun it doesn't matter if we're 17."
Luna gave up and they started playing hide and seek. They had a surprisingly fun time and they didn't realize what time it was.
"Shit! I gotta get home Luna my moms gonna kill me. Bye and see you tomorrow, maybe we can hang out again?" Said Sol.
"Maybe. My parents probably aren't home yet. Have a nice walk home."
Luna smiled as she watched Sol walk away, the sun setting. She started to jog in the opposite direction and made her way home. Not caring about the possible consequences she would face if her mom was home.
