CHAPTER ONE
AJA WASN'T A MORNING PERSON, she hated waking up and seeing the sun beat her in the face but she knew she had to get up and get dressed for school. She put on a blue and lavender dress with matching blue flats and she combed through her long ebony locks. She did her makeup and grabbed her backpack from in front of the door and left.
She walked the short distance to the school, as she walked, her eyes wondered around the neighborhood. She looked at the trees, the branches, everywhere and she smiled. Although she hated small towns, she couldn't help and enjoy views like these.
When she made it to school, she went to the office and picked up her schedule. She looked at her schedule.
Math
English
Financial Literacy
Music
Heath
Biology
GymAja felt energetic when she saw Gym on the list, she absolutely adored Gym and she was so good at it. She was told that a student was gonna come and welcome her to the schools, and show her around. Which she really wasn't in the mood for. She sighed and started walking to her next class.
She walked inside the class, she was introduced to the class by Mr. Baum and she gave a small smile and sat down. When she got the idea of the lesson she went ahead and finished early. She took out some paper and started to sketch out a figure. She then started to feel a migraine so she raised her hand and excused herself and went to the bathroom. She used the bathroom and she held onto the sink trying to control her migraine when she heard the sink break and the water sprayed on her.
She gasped and looked down at her hands. She didn't understand how her little meek hands could do this and took out her hoodie and covered her face. She went to her locker and grabbed some spare clothing. She went to a spare janitor closet and slipped it on. She put her hoodie back on and covered her face going back to her class and she acted like nothing happened but she was panicking.
How was I able to do that?
No one not even a man could do that? I don't even weight lift.
Soon the school found out about the sink and was wondering who did it and I didn't say anything. They were looking for a culprit that had a black hoodie and seeing as through there was plenty of people with black hoodies so the search wouldn't last long.
Aja went to lunch and she sat by herself which is the way she liked it and she stared eating the treats she baked last night. She grabbed a book and started reading it, it was a classic, The Great Gatsby. She was only on the fourth chapter when she noticed something staring down on her and it was becoming hard to focus so she looked at the source of the staring and she was gasped when she saw the beauty that the person embodied.
(I hope y'all don't hate me for changing Rosalie's face claim to Margot Robbie!)
Her long blonde hair was so lavish and looked so soft and the way her face was built, Aja had to contain herself from drooling. She was incredibly beautiful and Aja never thought a human could look that perfect.
Soon, lunch was over and she went to her next class and sat in the only empty seat in the room next to her.
Aja didn't say anything and the beautiful women just stared at her and when the class started, she turned around and looked at the teacher. She subtly heard two girls next to her, being extremely homophobic and she turned around and said this.
"Why is so wrong for girls to like girls and boys to like boys?" Aja confronted them and they looked at her in disgust.
"Everything. It's not normal."
"How is it not normal again?"
"First of all, it's against god, second of all, it's disgusting and third of all, you can't even have kids in same sex relationships so that alone makes it not okay or normal."
"So because of a book that wasn't even made by God and the fact that you can't reproduce is the reason why being gay isn't normal. How arrogant. Who we fuck or get into relationship isn't none of your concern."
the beautiful blonde next to Aja, spoke up. Her musical voice was so clear and pretty but her words sure wasn't.
"Being gay is a choice. No one is born gay."
Aja gasped and she looked at the girl and felt the initial attraction slowly go away.
"Look here blonde, if being gay is a choice than being straight is a choice too. No one just ups and chooses to be gay. Why would they choose this when bullshit like this happens all the time to them." Soon the teacher interrupted and stopped the argument but Aja was heated. She couldn't stand homophobia. As a proud black lesbian, she was often plagued with both racist and homophobic comments and it made her feel constantly on edge.
She didn't choose to be gay and was lucky that she got past her self hate for it and she damn sure didn't appreciate a group of airheads telling her that she wasn't natural because of who she is on the inside and outside. She worked too long and hard to love herself and she'll be damned if she lets a group of blonde homophobes destroy her self acceptance.
She'll punch you in the face...
