Drunk (Jungkook X Reader)

The Dance

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

We both exit the car, Jungkook locking it afterwards. He holds the door open for me as we enter the building. Music could be heard throughout the halls near the gym where the dance took place. As we open the gym doors, the music became clear, I recognized the song as 'Fantastic Baby' by BigBang. We had the sight of a large crowd of students from grades 9-12 and disco lights. It was definitely very well decorated. The two of us found an empty space for us to dance, we repeatedly jumped while yelling along with the music. I was having a lot of fun thanks to Jungkook.

I wonder when a slow song will come on. I want to wrap my arms around Jungkook's neck with his hands on my waist, staring into each others eyes. I want to smell his light scent. I want his pink lips to touch mi-... Why am I even having these thoughts?

"Do you want something to eat or drink"? Jungkook yelled loud enough for me to hear over the music.

"Yeah, I just want water", I reply.

He nods then leaves to get what I had asked for. I stop dancing due to the awkward feeling I've gotten from being alone. I move my gaze around the large room to see if I recognize anybody. I noticed a guy with familiar fluffy blonde hair. Did Jimin come? I make my way around everyone to get closer to the man. Once I had a clear view of his face I had come to realize that it was indeed Jimin. It seems he has came with the rest of the group.

"Hi guys"! I wave. I ended up startling Jin.

"Hi (y/n). Where is Jungkook"? Namjoon asks then looks around.

"He's getting some drinks", I say pointing at him. I wave as I see Jungkook trying to look for me. His eyes lit up as he saw me, he headed for my direction.

"I never knew you guys were coming", Jungkook says while handing me the red plastic cup.

"We decided it would be fun to go as a group since we don't got any girls to go with", Jimin explained.

Jungkook nodded. The song came to an end, which was immediately followed by another song. This time it was a slow song for couples to dance together.

"Jungkook, dance with me", Jimin said as he forcefully wrapped his arms around Jungkook

"Aish, Jimin", Jungkook un-clings his arms then pushes him. Jimin ended up bumping into a female who I am unfamiliar with. I rush over to the girl and bow.

"I am so sorry about that, these boys are crazy".

"Haha it's okay", she gave me a heart warming smile letting me know she's truly okay.

I returned the smile then headed back to the boys. Jungkook held his hand out for me to take then asked, "do you wanna dance"?

I nodded and grabbed his hand. It was just like what I was wishing for before; my arms resting at the back of his neck, his hands hugging my waist. His eyes glistened in the light which I was mesmerized by, I caught myself staring so I looked around for a bit.

"Aish, you're so beautiful I can't concentrate". I blushed at his complement.

Jimin started crouching next to us and squeezed his way into the small gap between Jungkook and myself. He stood up after he was in between. Jungkook and I gave each other a 'what the hell is wrong with him' face. I couldn't help but laugh. By now, Jimin was facing Jungkook. He turned his gaze over his shoulder so that he was now looking at me.

"He's mine now". Jimin jokingly said.

Jimin removed my hands from Jungkook's shoulders, replacing them with his own.

"HYUNG! Go away"! He laughed.

Jimin scrunched his nose, "fine".

He left and it was just the two of us again. We weren't able to finish the slow dance since the song ended.

As a group, we had a great time dancing, singing, and talking. But as the hours have quickly gone by, it of course had to come to an end.

Jungkook was driving me home after the long night. Although the ride was silent, the both of us had a continuous grin on our face. He parked in front of my house and got out of his car to walk me to the front door. I turned to face him once we arrived at the front porch.

"Thank you for tonight, Jungkook".

"Heh no problem", he says as he shyly places his hand on the back of his neck.

I gave him a quick peck on his cheek causing him to blush.

We bid our goodbye's, he made sure I was safely inside before heading back to his vehicle.

"Mom, I'm home"! I called.

She came running into the living room to where I now was.

"How was it"? She asked.

"It was a lot of fun"!

"Are you and Jungkook dating"?

"Oh umm no".

"Oh.. Okay." she seemed a bit dissapointed in my answer.

"I'm going to go to bed now, I'm really tired".

"Okay, goodnight honey".

"Night mom".

I went to my bedroom. I took off my dress and shoes, replacing them with pyjamas. I lay myself in bed, I decided to check Instagram before sleeping. Oh crud...I left my phone in Jungkook's car. Ugh I'm so stupid. I obviously can't call or text him and now it's the weekend so I have to wait until Monday. I decided to just fall asleep and deal with it later.

Morning

My surroundings are blurry as I open my eyes. I squint until my vision gets used to the bright light. I of course do my regular morning routine then head downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning Mom", I greeted.

"Goodmorning. What would you like for breakfast"?

"I can make it myself, thanks though".

She nodded then handed me an object...MY PHONE!

"I like that Jungkook", she smiled.

"W-w..but how"?!

"He came by and said that you left it in his car so he returned it".

A smile appears on my face due to his kind gesture.

"I'm going to call him to thank him". I say then leave the room.

After entering my pin, I dialed Jungkook's number. It rang twice before he picked up and I heard his voice.

"Hello"? He said.

"Hi... Umm thanks for dropping off my phone, that was really kind of you".

"Heh no problem".

There was an awkward silence for a bit.

"Umm I have to go now but I'll talk to you later. Thanks again. Bye".

"Bye".

Seconds after we hung up, my phone rang. Phone call from Jungkook. I tap accept then greet him for the second time.

"Do you have a Valentine's yet"? He questioned.

"Like, someone to be my Valentine"?

"Yeah".

"No, why"?

"Because I was wondering if you wanted to be my Valentine".

I gasped due to it being my first time some one asked me this question. What should I say?
