Chapter 28

Jimin's P.O.V.

The sound of a doorbell rang throughout each hallway. I opened the front door to unexpectedly find a woman with tears repeatedly running down her face. She choked out cries, struggling to breathe them back  in. Her face was red, eyes were puffy, and tears stained the skin of her cheek. The woman collapsed into my arms.

"(y/n)! What happened? What's wrong".

I couldn't get a word out of her.

"Lets get you inside".

I held her tight against my chest, allowing her tears to be soaked up from my shirt. She curled her body into mine after we sat on the couch. 

"It's okay, calm down", I softly said as I caressed her hair in attempt to soothe her.

I find that it is better to find out what the person is upset about once they have calmed down a bit rather than forcing them to say it right away.

Eventually, the younger calmed her breath enough to speak.

"Alright", I continued in with the soft tone. "Why are you upset"?

"J-Jungkook", she choked out.

"What did he do"? I raised my voice a little.

"H-He", her breath shuddered as she inhaled. "He wants a d-divorce".

Her body began to tremble again as she coughed out sobs.

"Don't worry about him anymore. He's missing out on the most beautiful, kind hearted person I've ever met".

I didn't receive any form of response but I still hoped I made her at least a little bit happier.

"Do you want anything"? I asked. "Tea? Water?"

She slightly nodded her head then mumbled, "Water".

I got her glass of water. She took small sips from it. 

"Do you want to stay the night"?

She nodded yet again, without a word. She was mute.

"You can even live here for a while since I assume you'd need somewhere to stay".

This time, I had only received a sigh. "Why do I still love him"?

"Hmm"?

"He treats me so awfully. It's was about him all the time." (y/n) groaned through gritted teeth.

"HE NEVER F*CKING CARED EVEN THOUGH I DID"! She yelled, causing me to jump back.

"(y/n), please calm down and watch you profanity".

She scoffed at me.

"Jungkook is not worth your time. Just forget about him".

"I-I can't".

"You can. Please trust me", I grabbed onto both of her hands, staring into her eyes.

"..."

"(y/n), will you go out with me"?

"What"?

"Will you go out with me"?

"Like as in boyfriend and girlfriend"?

I nodded, "It's okay if you don't want to".

"Jimin, I'm still married. It would be considered cheating".

"By the way he was treating you, I don't think it matters".

"I guess..."

"So is that a yes or no"?

"I'll tell you but we have to do it at a certain place".

"...alright".

We left the house after (y/n) washed her face a bit. She took the drivers seat and drove off. We quickly arrived at a place I didn't expect to be taken to.

Her house.

"Why are we here"? I asked.

She exited the vehicle without a reply. I followed her footsteps to arrive at the front door. I assumed she would just open the door but instead she pressed the doorbell.

After a few seconds, the door was opened by no other than Jeon Jungkook.

"What do you two want"? He said in a cold voice.

What happened next flashed before my eyes. 

The collar of my shirt was grabbed by the female, pulling on it, forcing my head to come closer to her. She crashed her lips against mine for a quick moment before releasing.

"Does that answer your question"?

I stood in shock, my mouth agape.

"HEY"! Jungkook yelled out as he clenched onto (y/n)'s arm. "You can't just go around kissing other guys".

"Excuse me but you said you wanted a divorce. Where are the papers"?

"I didn't get them yet".

"Well get working on it".

"Whatever", he rolled his eyes.

And with that, we left and went back to my house.

Jungkook seemed jealous when she kissed me...

Jungkook's P.O.V.

Jimin and (y/n) left after the kiss. It made me so frustrated.

I hate (y/n).

Hate is a strong word

Fine! I strongly dislike (y/n).

No you don't

She ruined my life

And you ruined hers

Why is she so rude

Stop a-BRUISING her HA get it?

Stop. Not even funny. Can you go away?

I can't

Why not?

Because I am you

Why are you talking to me then?

Because deep down, you love her

I do not
