Thank you Taeamikookie for helping with the chapter again!! I had finished it already but she had a waAYYY better idea cuz mine was rushed and stuff so I ended up erasing most of what I had previously. ANYWAYS READ IT NOW :))))))
Jungkook's P.O.V.
"(Y/n)? Hello?" I waved my hand in front of her face.
Finally, she came back to her senses, however, she didn't say anything. She just stared at me with wide eyes.
"You okay?" I asked.
Immediately, she took a step back and vigorously shook her head.
"What's wrong?"
She opened her mouth to speak, words struggled to come out. Her body began shaking and her eyes filled up with tears.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
As thankful as I am for him getting my memories back, his abusive state scared me. I don't know if I should trust him or not. My heart says yes but my brain says no.
"Why did you treat me badly...", I finally said.
His eyes widened before his gaze dropped down to his feet, "Oh you remembered...I'm glad", he faintly whispered. "Sorry..."
Jungkook opened his arms up wide and walked up to me for a hug.
I pressed my hand against his chest to stop him. A look of disappointment and confusion was present upon his face.
"Look, I'm sorry... I realized what I did was wrong. I love you so much."
"Just give me some time to think things over please."
I walked away, back home. Jungkook's and my home.
Jungkook's P.O.V.
I just stared at her as she walked away with a slight part between my lips. My throat became dryer from each second that past.
Even once she was out of sight, I continued to stare in her direction.
I can't change the past. Having to know that makes my heart shatter even more. I feel so distraught that I can barely breathe. I wish I told her the truth the first time she asked.....
An arm comfortingly wrapped around my shoulder. It was Jimin.
"Let it out Jungkook", he said in a soft tone.
Moments after hesitation, I found myself hiding my face in his neck, breaking down more and more as time past.
"Hyung, it hurts..."
