Washed Away

Petra opened her eyes, the only source of light there was is the cave entrance, Petra stood up and looked around, her parents were there, still sleeping. There were other ponies that Petra doesn't know fully sleeping at the other side of the cave. Petra quietly walked out of the entrance. As soon as she walked out, she noticed that the sky was cloudy, it was about to rain. Petra walked toward the fence they were kept in. She noticed a hole. "The fence has a hole on it!!! Maybe I can tell the others so we can escape, but I should check and see if it's safe"  Petra went through the hole, stepping out of the fence for the very first time in her life. She looked around, she was standing somewhere on a mountain with a large river below a large gorge. She started feeling rain droplets on her nose. She looked up and noticed that the clouds were getting darker. Petra looked at the gorge then started walking toward it. She went to the edge then spread out her wings, feeling the windy breeze. She looked down and saw the river. It was flowing faster than she can imagine. She felt the ground under her breaking. Petra looked down then noticed that the part of the gorge she was standing on was breaking. She started panicking, the gorge broke as soon as she took only one hoof off of it. She toppled down until she fell into the river. The water was so cold she felt like a million needles were poking her at the same time. She struggled to swim. "Mom!!! Dad!!! Help!!!" Petra yelled as loud as she could. Water started to fill her mouth as she screamed. The river started to get faster as she tried to swim. It was washing her away from the cave she lived in. She saw one last glimpse of it then there was a pain on her head then everything went black.
