My Little Pony Crossovers: Petra's Silence

7 Years Later...

Petra woke up, feeling the spring breeze come from her window. Petra hopped out of her bed then put her bandana on then looked out of her window. It has been 7 years since Steve and Alex took her in, they haven't found her parents, just recently, Petra moved out and lived in a treehouse they made nearby. Petra and the twins became close over the years, Steve also gave her gold then Petra went exploring, while she was traveling, she met a blacksmith who offered to make her a sword with the gold she had, she accepted and got a new sword then named it 'Miss Butter' for fun. She also got a cutie mark which was the same sword. Petra blinked back to reality, she was hearing hoofsteps below the treehouse. "Petra, are you there??? " She recognized the voice, she went toward the trapdoor and opened it, she popped her head out then looked around. It was the twins. "Oh hey guys, what's up???" Petra asked. "Nothing much, our parents want us to ask you if you want to come with us," Jesse replied. "Where???" Petra asked thoughtfully. "To a town nearby," Jessica replied. "Sure," Petra said. She glided down the ladder then walked toward the twins. "So why are we going???" Petra asked. The twins looked at each other, some sorrow in their eyes. "Fang's gone..." Jesse murmured. Petra gasped, she knew that if it weren't for him, Petra wouldn't be found and starve in the forest or get attacked. "I'm so sorry..." Petra said. She hugged both of the twins. "What happened???" Petra asked. "Well for the last two years, Fang has been exploring the forest, we would see him with other wolves, then around last week, he just disappeared," Jesse replied. "Why not look for him???" Petra asked. "We did, but we saw nothing of him," Jessica replied. There was a moment of silence between them. "So why do you want to go to the town???" Petra asked. "Well our parents met somepony whose pig had piglets, so we're gonna get one to cheer us up a bit," Jessica replied. "Oh..." Petra said. "Well, let's go," Jesse said. He started leading them to his house.

They arrived, the twins parents were waiting outside. "Hello Petra, we didn't think you would come," Alex greeted her. Petra hugged the both of them. "I'm sorry about Fang..." Petra said. "It's alright, he could be out there in the forest enjoying himself," Steve said. "May we leave now???" Jessica asked. "Sure, the village isn't far from here," Alex replied. "We're going through the swamp, we haven't been there for a quite a while," Steve said. He started leading them to a path nearby. Petra was walking aside with the twins. As they were walking Petra noticed that they were stepping on mud. The sky started getting fogging, there was mist around them. "Don't mind the mist, Dad knows which way to go," Jesse said. As they were walking, there was an abandoned hut in the middle of the swamp, Steve and Alex kept walking as if they weren't trying to look at it. Petra glanced at it. "Our parent's friend used to live there, we don't know what happen but it's better off gone now," Jessica said. "This is the swamp they went through during the journey???" Petra asked. Jesse nodded. There was a moment of silence between them. Petra noticed that the twins parents stopped. "We're nearly there," Steve said. Petra noticed a town ahead of them. There was a red barn at the edge of the town, Steve started leading them there. 

They arrived at the red barn, there was an old earth pony stallion standing by the entrance. Steve walked up to him and shook his hoof. Steve walked toward them. "You guys be gentle with the piglets, they haven't opened their eyes yet so you might cause it to worry," Steve said. They nodded. They all walked into the red barn. The stallion Steve talked to started to lead them. They reached one of the pens, there was a pig in there, there were five piglets suckling milk from her. The twins awed. "You guys pick a one that you both can agree on," Steve said. Both of the twins nodded. The stallion opened the door to the pen then the twins walked in. Some of the piglets woke up from their doze then surrounded the twins. One of the piglets were wagging their curly tail and licking Jesse's hoof then Jessica's. Jesse started petting the piglet then it squeaked. "I think this one likes us," Jesse said. Jessica nodded in agreement. Jesse turned to Petra. "What do you think, Petra???" Jesse asked. "It's all up to you guys," Petra exclaimed. Jesse sat a front of the piglet. "Hey little buddy, you wanna come with us???" Jesse asked the piglet. The pig started chasing his tail then faced the twins again, acting like a dog. Jessica faced her parents. "I think we found one," Jessica exclaimed. The twins parents nodded. Jesse grabbed the piglet that was excited when they exited the pen. "Is that the one you want???" The stallion that owns the barn asked. Both of the twins nodded. "All right, he's all yours," The stallion said. "Thank you," Steve said. The stallion nodded. "All right, let's head home," Steve said. Alex, the twins, and Petra started following him, the piglet was walking next to the twins. "What are you guy's gonna name it???" Petra asked. "I don't know, I think we should name him Reuben," Jessica replied. The piglet squealed in excitement. "I think he likes it," Jesse said. "You like the name 'Reuben'???" Jesse asked the piglet. It squealed in excitement again. "Reuben it is," Jesse exclaimed

Petra was with the twins at their house, Petra sat between Jesse and Jessica as they were feeding Reuben. He was munching on some carrots. Petra looked out the window and noticed it was getting dark and cloudy. "Hmm, maybe I should go back to my treehouse, it's getting dark," Petra said. The twins nodded. "Goodbye," The twins said at the same time. Petra petted Reuben on the head. "See ya, Reuben," Petra said. As Petra walked to the door she saw Steve and Alex talking on the table. "Bye guys," Petra said. Steve and Alex noticed her and started waving. "Remember, when you need us, we're here for you," Alex said. Petra nodded then went out the door. She started walking back home.
