after putting our daughter in her crib, i went to the kitchen to make dinner. just when i was about to wash the rice, my phone silently vibrated, signaling that I had received a text message.

pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind. a smile immediately formed on my face as i knew whose arms these belonged to.

"are you hungry?" i ask yoongi who had his head rested on my shoulder. he hummed as a reply while butterfly kisses were placed on my exposed neck. 

"stop it. it tickles." i giggled, as i placed my hands on top of his.

i turned around to face him, his hands still where it was before.  

we stared at each other for a while in complete silence until he spoke up "you look really beautiful"

"that's so sudden" i chuckled "thanks, anyway"

he gave me a smile before bringing his face closer to mine. just when our lips touched, loud cries were heard from the other room.

"she must've woke up. i'll go check on her" i say as i step out of yoongi's embrace.

"we'll be continuing this later, (y/n)" i heard him say before entering the other room. blush crept up my face as i remembered how he said those exact words nine months before our daughter's birth.
