Chapter Eight

So all set my princess?...........shall we leave?

I forwarded my hand and waited for Avni to grab it............she squealed before jumping like an over-excited kid............she was so looking forward to this outing with me, just as I was eager to tour the city with her...........she always managed to get the child in me alive, something which was brutally killed by my dad........

Paapa.............I'm gonna go out with Maasi..........Kulfi Time.........

She screamed on top of her voice as Ved peeked through the newspaper to look at her fondly............he was her hero and she was his angel............and Ele, ofcourse she did exist............but you know what, when it came to handling kids I would rate her 2 on 10............coz she's very good as a friend and a wife, but being a mother...........well well.............she herself needs Ved to father her all the time.........

Baby don't eat too much of ice-cream ok...........my baccha will catch cold..........and then you have to miss your school............and then I have to listen to your teacher's bickering, which I'm certainly not game for........

I rolled my eyes at Ele, who had positioned herself on the kitchen slab now..........she was busy instructing Geeta to prepare various stuff, some of which she had not even heard off..............well this serves as a punishment for Geeta..........how dare she eye Ele's hubby...........she needs to be tormented, isn't it?

Ofcourse Mumma.............Avni will eat very little ice-cream..........is that ok Mumma?

I mimicked Avni's voice while speaking to Ele as she looked on offended...........Ved on the other hand laughed out aloud, as Geeta darling was all excited to see him enjoy our little joke............my dear Geeta, control your emotions...........Ele has still not shown you her bad side..........she's extremely dangerous when it comes to people she loves, and trust me when I say this...........Avni enjoyed my cool side and giggled at my antics..........

Avni............baby, go sit in the car...........maasi will come soon ok

She hopped her way out of my house, as I made a dash to the kitchen...........Ele still looked offended as I looped my hands around her, embracing her tightly..........much to Ved's discomfort............he was certainly not a buyer of our PDA...........while I liked to irk him being all cozy with his wife..........

Instead of burning your energy to torment my poor maid, why don't you do something fruitful to burn it.............I mean, me and Avni are going out.............so if you manage to send your little enemy out too...........you know, it would be Ved..........you...........and a locked house...........waapas jaake waise bhi company hi sambhalni hai Ved ko............so why not fully utilize your time, when you have a chance to do so..........

I winked at her as her face brightened all of a sudden............she even forgot she was annoyed with me just a while ago..........quickly hatching up a plan she turned to Geeta........
