This was not good.
Ja'Zelle was late for her second meeting, because the first one with Oscorp had ran over time. Now she only had five minutes to arrive in the meeting room for Imagines Industries. Problem being that it was on the fourth floor while she was on the tenth. 'It couldn't get worst that it already was.' she thought.
She saw the nearest elevator, but the door was beginning to close. She yelled a 'wait' and somehow the elevator stopped it's previous attempt to leave her.
Running, well basically leaping she makes herself into elevator. Good thing being no one was in there with her- Ja'Zelle thought she felt a presence with her only to look over and saw no one was there.
Weird.
She ignored the feeling and looked up to the elevator reading 9....8....

And so on. She finally arrived to the conference room after almost breaking a heel, opening the door to a wonderful sight.A long stretched conference table accompanied by multiple people in uncomfortable looking chairs. What caught her eye wasn't that she was the only black person in there, but she was the only woman in there. She was pulled out all of her thoughts when the stares from the men started to make he uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry that I'm-" ,she started before she was rudely interrupted.
"I would like a caramel macchiato, extra caramel with no cream. I would like to have it in less than five minutes.", one of the old white men had said abruptly, shooing Ja'Zelle off with a wave of a hand. Then others started to bark out their orders.
"Excuse me?!", Ja'Zelle almost pounced on the old man like a lion. Hmm. They assumed she was the assistant or the coffee girl. " Either you say it politely or get it yourself. This is not a maid or Butler shop."
The old men looked appalled. "Who do you think you are talking to? I swear you can't find good help anymore." He whispered to the other colleague right beside him. Then looked back at Ja'Zelle, slowly up and down with disgust. "I can have you fired and never be able to get a job in the rest of the city. You are to treat your superiors with respect."
"In order for you to receive respect, you have to give it first. And might I say you're not doing a good job." Ja'Zelle spoked professionally, crossing her arms over her chest and looked back at the rude man."
"I would like to see your boss. Bring him here this instant. Your attitude is not acceptable. Your kind isn't suitable for even this small position.",the others laughed.
