Chapter 9: Jealousy

The next day Jackson texted you telling you to come around 5 pm because he had some stuff to do before that (and yes you guys exchanged phone numbers yesterday). You agreed with it, because you wanted to practice first before going there. During your practice you got a message, but you just ignored it since you were too busy practicing. After a few hours you took a break and saw it was a message from Changbin. You literally slapped yourself for not checking the phone earlier.

Changbin:
Yo
So you coming today?

Y/N:
Heyy Binnie
Sorry I didn't answer earlier I was practicing
And yeah I'm coming around 5 pm
Why?

Changbin:
Cool
I wanted to see you after that

At that moment you felt your heart almost jumping from your chest and before you got yourself together he continued to text you.

Changbin:
I mean if you have some time after that
To show you the songs I was talking about, of course haha

Changbin had to correct himself after his first message, because he wasn't sure how you would react, but it was also true that he wanted to show you those songs.

You still weren't used to him calling you that, but you didn't hate it. In fact you liked it, but of course, you weren't going to admit that.

It was around 5 pm when you arrived at the studio and Jackson was late, so you just sat down and reviewed the lyrics once more. After a few minutes he came.

"Hi Y/N, sorry I'm late, work took a bit longer than I thought it would." he said while taking the lyrics from the table.

"It's fine, I just got here as well"

"So you ready?" he said while walking to the recording room.

"Yup!" you said as you gave him the thumbs up and wished him luck on his recording.

'He's a good rapper, I have to admit. YG was right when he said this was a great opportunity.' you thought to yourself, as you were obviously satisfied that you were working with someone who knows music.

After a while, you went in and started recording. It went well, they were satisfied with your part on your first take, but you still wanted to improve it, so you tried a few more times. After 2/3 hours you were all done and you started to pack your bag and you texted Changbin, saying that you were done and he responded within seconds where you should go. Then Jackson came up to you.

"Great job today Y/N." he said tapping you on the shoulder.

"Thanks, you did a great job as well." you said with a smile.

"So for the good job, I was thinking of treating you to dinner. What do you say?"

"Oh I would love to, but I already have some plans today." you said as you were a bit taken back by his question. You never thought he, Jackson, an idol, would invite you to have dinner with him. It was very flattering, but you were looking forward to spending time with Changbin after this, so it didn't affect you that much.
