Chapter 12: An umbrella

"Changbin?" you asked looking at the boy, who just walked into the room.

"What are you doing here? How did you know I was here?" you asked still looking puzzled.

"Felix told me and Yedam told him, but never mind that. Are you okay?" he asked as he went closer to you.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's not a big deal." you said as you pointed at the chair next to the bed, for him to sit down.

"I'd say it's a pretty big deal to faint several times in just three weeks." he said as he sat down.
"Why didn't you tell me about your phone? That they were taking it away." he asked after a few seconds.

"Um I didn't think you would care... and I texted Felix, so I thought he might have told you about it." you said as you tried to avoid telling him that you did it because you needed to distance yourself from him.

"How could I not care?! I texted you like every day, there are definitely more than a 100 texts from me. And no, he didn't tell me about it until today." he said looking upset.

"I'm sorry Binnie, I should have told you." you said looking at him.

"It's okay... but promise me you will tell me first the next time something like this happens." he said as he held up his hand for a pinky promise.

You gladly placed your hand into his for a pinky promise and said "Okay, I promise."

After that you talked for about an hour and you fell asleep. Changbin looked at you thinking how adorable you look. He wanted to stay, but he had practice tomorrow morning and the visiting hours were over a long time ago and he had to sneak out now without anyone noticing him. Before that he took a piece of paper and wrote:

'Sweet dreams babygirl, I'll come see you tomorrow with others. Look forward to it😉'

The next morning you woke up you saw that Changbin had left. 'Shit shit shit did I really just fell asleep while he was still here. God, Y/N you idiot!' you literally shouted in your thoughts. Then you saw the note. After reading it you melted. It was such a sweet note and you never thought he would write something like this. You wanted to treasure at least this note, since you didn't have your texts anymore, so you put it in you bag and went back to you bed.

After a few hours your friends came.

"How are you feeling Y/N?"
"Did you get some sleep?"
"Did you eat?"

They were throwing questions at you and you had to answer every one of them. After they were done questioning you, Felix suggested that you all play some game called 10 questions. You get to ask 10 questions anyone you want, it can be the same person, but it doesn't necessarily need to. You all agreed, since you wanted to get to know each other even better.

"Okay, I'll start. Hm... Yedam. What's your favourite flower?" Felix asked bluntly and you almost bursted out laughing at how forward he was.

"I would say roses are my favourite." Yedam answered and the game went on for a few more minutes until it was Sky's turn to ask the questions. She looked over at you and gave you a look that you knew all too well. She was about to fuck things up.

"Hm... Changbin, is there anyone you like?" she asked.

You widened your eyes in surprise, you knew she would say something like this, but still it surprised you. You looked over at Changbin who was also taken back by the sudden question. Then he looked you straight in the eyes and said "Well there's a girl I want to kiss."

After that you blushed so much that after a few seconds Midam told you "I'll go and call a nurse."

"What? Why?" you asked confused.

"Your face is all hot and red." he said and you quickly looked down saying that it was fine.

You didn't dare to look up at Changbin and after a few minutes when you did you saw him smiling at you and you quickly went back to looking down.

After a few hours they all had to go back to practice and you said your goodbyes. Changbin told the others to go without him and that he will be right back after he helps you pack your stuff, because you were leaving hospital today.
After he helped you, you had to change.

"I'll go to the bathroom." he said and left the room for you to change. He looked outside and saw that it has started raining. Luckily he had an umbrella with him. When he came back, you both went outside and then you saw that it was raining as well.

"Great. Just my luck. It started raining." you said as you sighed and thought about whether to run to the bus stop or to stay here until it stops raining.

Then Changbin took out an umbrella from his bag and placed it in your hand.

"Use it." he said.

"What about you? It's raining hard." you said worried, because you were going in the opposite directions.

"If I'm alone with you under the umbrella... I may get myself in trouble." he said as he started to walk away. "I'm going." he added as he started to run now.

"Thanks." you mumbled to yourself, since he was already far away to hear it.

Changbin's POV

I finally came back to the dorm and when I walked in, everybody looked at me shocked.

"Oh my God, what happened?" Minho asked worriedly.

"Why are you soaking wet? Didn't you have an umbrella with you?" Chan asked confused, because I was the one who told them to bring their umbrellas today and now I'm the one who's wet.

"Yeah, I lost it somewhere." I said scratching the back of my head, looking innocent.

"Okay, go change quickly. We can't have you getting sick now." Chan said as he passed me a towel.

I washed up, changed and laid down on my bed.
'Thank God, she's looking better today. She's slowly getting back to normal.' I thought.
'So Valentine's day is coming up, should I take her out somewhere? I don't even know if she can have a free day... even if she did, what would we do? Uh I don't know, I'll ask Hyunjin or Felix tomorrow, they know more about those stuff." and with that thought I fell asleep.
