When The Betrayed Moves On.

Chapter Seven

Finn P.O.V

Luke lightly grips my hand as we walk past the others while following Percy and Jess, who passed Chloe and Max.

"We still have to tell them the big news." I whisper softly into Luke's ear and his eyes widen before he puts one hand on the small of my back, with one swift motion, he scoops me up into his arms bridal style and runs behind Percy who threw Jess over his shoulder then proceeds to run down the stairs with Jess screaming with delight.

"Faster Chloe!" I hear Max shout and I struggle to look over Luke's shoulder only to see Chloe giving Max a piggy back ride, I look ahead to see Luke getting ready to hop over the railing like Percy had done.  

"OH MY GOD!" I scream as Luke jumps over the edge and lands on the next level a small grunt, I could feel my teeth chatter at the moment of impact.

"You guys are asshats!" I hear Chloe shout and I just tighten my grip on Luke, free falling always terrified me. I squeeze my eyes shut as Luke continues to sprint after Percy, suddenly I feel a small tap on my back.

"Sunshine, you can open your eyes now." Luke's chilling breath hits my ear, my eyes slowly open and I slowly climb out of Luke's arms.

"Thanks Greenie." I giggle and he rolls his eyes.

"EW! You can give him some medical attention later." Jess teases and I feel my face heat up.

"You're so gross!" I hiss and Jess scrunches her nose at me, then sticks her tongue out at me. Chloe and Max enter.

"You guys suck." Max playfully scowls and Chloe immediately strips down to her bikini and hops into the pool. She hovers in the water for a few before turning to us.

"Come on in guys, or are you to afraid of the shark?" Chloe snaps jokingly before splashing at us.

"Oh it's on now!" Max teases and strips to her bikini and hops in the water.

"Oh look, there's an otter in my water." Chloe teases back.

"NOW THERE'S A DOLPHIN!" Percy shouts and canon balls in the water.

"THIS KITTY LIKES WATER!" Jess shouts as well and jumps in the water as well, a cool touch is placed into my hand.

"We can do this." My love whispers into my ear and I nod slightly.

"We have an announcement to make!" I softly exclaim but the only one who notices is Percy. Luke wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to his side.

"LISTEN UP BITCHES!" Luke shouts and they stop.

"Except for you Max, you're an angel and we all appreciate you being here." I giggle and Percy gasps dramatically and Chloe flips us off while Jess shouts a 'HEY!'.    

"We have an announcement to make!" I restate and this time they stay quiet.

"Um, well-" I start before sticking out my left hand and flashing my ring finger.

"HOLY SHIT!"

"HE FINALLY DID IT!"

"ABOUT GODDAMN TIME!"

"I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!"

They were yelling things like that before slipping out of the pool and sliding over to us. Percy was the first to grab my hand and pull it up to eye level.

"HOT DAMN THIS RING IS GORGEOUS!" He yells and Jess pulls my hand to her eye level.

Jess P.O.V

I examined the ring.

The band was gold with small tear shaped emeralds surrounding a pearl. The pearl itself looks blueish-white in some lights but in was mostly a eggshell-white. Was it? No...it couldn't be. Could it?

"LuLu? Is this Abuela's?" I ask in disbelieve. He nods.

"She handed me the ring and said, 'I've been around for almost 80 years, I have had that ring for almost 55 years. It should be put in good use.'" Luke tells me and I smile.

"Abuela said something else didn't she?"

"She also said 'Don't be such a pussy about this, you love him, I don't know how he loves you, but I know love when I see it!'" He laughs and I giggle, That's my Abuela.

"María is the greatest." Percy fondly sighs and Chloe nods in agreement. We all adore Abuela.

"I have the idea!" Max excitedly exclaims and Chloe smirks slightly.

"What? You're gonna take a selfie?" She teases and Max lightly punches her in the gut.

"Let's go see María." She opinionated, we all look at each other, then smile.
