Chapter One-Ella

"Hello Katie could you contact patty I need her in my office in five, yeah and

could you fix a meeting with the board of directors in an hour? Ok great" I put the

phone down and sighed with my palm to my face, this was always how it was

going to be each time, as long as this company stocks keeps plummeting down the

hill I'd always have these series of paper work to deal with, by golly something

had to be done before this company finally loses its reason of existence. In some

few minutes the door opened and I got snapped out of my thoughts.

"Ella, you know you really should have a pretty good reason pulling me from my

desk" Patty started as she walked into the little office which was simply decorated

but looked fabulous to the eye, the office seemed to reflect the simple life that I

lived, the paintings that graced the magnificent wall paint and interior design

alongside the vibrant fresh flowers that I always requested for in the morning plus

the sweet smell of the cream latte on the desk

"I guess I needed your ever wise counsel again before we meet up with the

board of directors" I reached my hand to take a sip of my latte, unfortunately patty

reached it first

"Thank you" she smirked as she sipped my latte and left the creamy foam giving

her a pretty creamy moustache

"Mmm this is great...Awww" she chugged down the latte, only to leave her with

foam made moustache

"Haha you have a little" I gestured to her new found creamy moustache

"Huh? What?" she seemed confused so I took up the mirror and showed her, her

new found feature?

"Ohh that, who cares anyway it's just me and you here right?" I guess I always

loved and envied patty's ability to be free, strong and so kind, she was young like I

was, Age 26, blonde and so pretty she couldn't walk by without getting noticed by

everyone, her height being 5 ft 4 made her seem confident of herself. Patty was my

best friend since pre-school we'd been best of friends and picked up interests in the

same thing and even studied at Harvard together and found ourselves professionals in marketing ever since I'd been friends with patty she'd comfort me through all

my problems, she'd always been that one friend that never let you not matter what

happened.

"Well you know why I called you, you know this company picked us because it

believed we'd bring more ideas and save it from being titanic"

"I think Titanic is magnificent" she replied so I gave her the eye

"Maybe not" she corrected
