Waverley moved to National City after meeting Hank Henshaw (J'hon). She wanted to live the life she wanted. Not a secret life, hiding her past from the Luthors. They think she is an average girl from France.
But she's not. She thought she loved a woman. The woman was Lena. But she wasn't lucky to gain a moment with her. Lex claimed her. He got her to marry him just as he went after Clark. Superman.
Lex wasn't always that bad. All villains have a past. He just wasn't her type. The main thing with Lex was he wanted kids. And for khryptonians who was destined to be with the same sex....
They could only have kids with their soulmate. Waverley's home planet was destroyed before she hit marriage age. Before she knew who she was.
Now her job since divorcing Lex is to be over L Corp. She wants to show who she is. Now the thing is... Lena is over that... And Lena is over CatCo, as well.
