So this is my first book, and although I haven't made it all yet, I'm going to declare it cringe worthy. But please, give it a shot. Hope you like it!

  Links POV

"I'm glad that's over with," Midna said, once she had just destroyed the mirror. As she did, I reverted into my wolf self. This happened a lot to me, especially at random, unwanted, moments, but this time was unusual. First of all, since Zant was gone, this shouldn't  be happening in the first place, and second of all, a few minutes after I transformed, my old memories of being human was starting to fade, like when I accidentally made my old town disappear. I slowly saw it fade from my brain. I was glad it left l, but I didn't want anything to leave my memory.  Midna must have noticed something going on as she stared at my icy blue eyes.
"Are you ok, Link? You seem a bit out of it," she said with concern. "Maybe you should get some rest. Here follow me."
She turned to the door behind her, and walked her way out of the castle. As she did, she continuously looked at her hands.
"Boy is it good to be back," she muttered to herself. After defeating Zant, she was able to transform into her normal state. She was quite tall, and she wore a robe type thing around her body.
I continued to follow her through the castle, when I started to feel dizzy. We were almost to the entrance when I started wobbling back and forth on my four paws. As soon as we exited the castle, I collapsed to the floor, blacking out.

Midna's POV

I paced back and forth between the walls. After wolf Link collapsed, I took him back to Ordon Village, and took him to his old house. It had been three days since Link had blacked out, and it didn't help that he still hadn't reverted to his normal, human self. I noticed that he was acting weird before we left the castle, but i just thought it was because of the exhaustion. In never thought he would have blacked out for this long!
A creaking sound broke me from my thoughts. I snapped my head to the bed where wolf Link lay. He was starting to stir, but I could tell by his eyes he wasn't ok. He gave a soft whimper, then looked to me. He looked scared. I walked to the bed and sat next to him. I started stroking his head softly. I heard his tail thump against the bed, then he slowly stopped, falling back asleep. I decided to myself that if he wasn't back to his human state by tomorrow afternoon, I would turn him back myself. He didn't deserve to stay like this after he just saved the princess, again.
I turned back to him. "Nighty night, wolf-boy," I said as I exited the room, knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.

Link's POV

I felt eyes watching me as I started to stir. I slowly opened my eyes, and found that Midna was sitting on the bed next to me, gazing at me with worry. I looked to my paws. Why haven't I changed back yet? Surely since the evil is gone, I wouldn't be in this state in the first place?
Midna got off the bed, breaking me from my thoughts. She turned and looked at me with what seemed like determination in her eyes. Her head moved as she looked me over, then nodded.
"Link, yesterday while you were out, I promised that by the time it was afternoon, and you were still a wolf, I would turn you back. Is that ok with you," she asked, obviously wanting a 'yes' in response.
I weakly nodded, still exhausted from my sleep. I lay my head back down on my paws and listened as Midna chanted what sounded like gibberish. She paused and looked at me, waiting for something to happen.
Out of nowhere, a ball of light appeared in front of me, then moved above me. I continued to stare at the ball of light, completely oblivious to Midna's look of horror.
"Link move!" She yelled, but it was too late. The ball of light had turned into a pitch black void, sucking me in.
I howled in fear, "Midna!" The last thing I saw was Midna's face struck with horror.
